Flapper Emma

Hello blogging friends, I hope you are all well today.
First of all I would like to welcome my newest follower Michelle to my blog, I'm so pleased to have you join me.
I am managing to fit a little time in for crafting at the moment and recently bought this beautiful image from Pink Gem so really wanted to make her up into a card. I really love the Emma images and this one was no exception!
I felt she should have a gold colour scheme and dug around in my box of papers and found this one from Michele R designs Shabby Vintage Rose collection which I've backed with some white card sponged with gold ink. The stripey gold paper is from a Marianne Designs pack called Twinset & Pearls.
I cut the image with a Nellie Snellen oval die and coloured her in with Promarkers and a little gold glitter gel pen which doesn't show up too well unfortunately. I die cut a fancy corner and also cut some feathery shapes which were from Marianne Designs.as I thought they matched the ones on her hat. I sponged a paper doily with the same gold ink. I coloured a few paper flowers with Promarkers and added some card candi for the middles. A little ticket from Michele R finsihed it off and I added some peel offs too:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

A Gem of a Challenge # 151-one for the girls
The Corrosive challenge #231 - feminine
Ruby's Rainbow #111 -dies & punches
Shopping our Stash #215 -layer it on me

Aloha
