Good evening to you all
I can't believe it is supposed to be spring-just where is the sunshine?? More snow forecast for the next couple of days too-just crazy!!
I have seen lots on the blogs this last week about Bloglovin so I have added the button on my blog too in case anyone wants to follow me on there when the google follower thingy stops-I wouldn't like to lose anyone!
I am on the final countdown now for my holiday-only 5 more days to get through and then off we go to see Mickey Mouse and friends-I'm so so excited!!! This will be my last post until after I come back-I had such high hopes of trying to schedule a couple of posts for while I was away but the time is just whizzing away from me and I still have such a huge amount to do so I think I have to realise that something has to give.
I will still try to get around and see your gorgeous cards right up till I go but if I slip a bit I hope you will understand!
My card today is made with a gorgeous image and sentiment from Digital Delights that I was lucky enough to win from a challenge at Card Crafter's Circle. He's called Booboo and I've coloured him with my promarkers. I have used some papers which came free with a magazine and I used my Martha Stewart lattice edger punch. I finished off with some flowers and added sequins to the flowers too. I hope you like him.
I'd like to enter him into the following challenges:
Bearly Mine challenge 78 - Anything Goes
CRAFT challenge 199 - Photo inspiration
I love promarkers challenge - Anything Goes
I hope you all have a fab weekend and I will catch up with you all when I get back-I will also hope to share some exciting news with you then too!!!.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.
Until next time.
Aloha

Maggie Springtime Flowers
Afternoon to you all,
firstly I'd like to say a big Hello and welcome to my new followers-I'm so pleased that you have chosen to join me. Secondly I'd like to say sorry that I haven't been able to pop around and leave comments on so many of your lovely cards over the last few days-the preparation for our holiday has really kicked in and I spent all day yesterday cleaning (yuk!) the house in readiness to leave it spotless for my daughter who's staying at home and then today I've spent the whole day shopping (yay!!) at Ashford outlet trying to get together the clothes that we all still need. We went for a lovely lunch at Rochester afterwardsroo as we were all starving and needed to sit down for a bit!! Am nearly there now but still need a few last minute bits and bobs which will have to be next weekend!
I'm quickly popping on to post this card that I made last week to be sent to my Aunt for her birthday this week-it's using an image from Lacy Sunshine which I just fell in love with and it was such a bargain too at only $1!! She's coloured with my Promarkers and I used some papers from my stash mounted onto Kraft card and a lovely freebie sentiment from Netty's cards. I also added some paper flowers by Dovecraft and my new Nellie Snellen corner die -hope you like her!
I'd like to enter her into the following challenges:
Robyns Fetish challenge 151 -Use Green
Crafty Sentiments challenge- Hello spring
Card Makin Mamas challenge - Spring
Fussy and Fancy challenge 84 - Flowers
Lacy Sunshine challenge 4 - Layer it up
Moving along with the times challenge - Spring is in the air
Papertake Weekly challenge - 1,2,3 (1 image, 2 flowers 3 papers)
I am going to try and get around to see some of your lovely cards now and then its the usual 'getting ready for Monday' routine!!)
Hope you all have a wonderful week, thanks so much for stopping by and until next time.
Aloha

Pink Easter Basket
Evening all
And wow, how cold has today been??? We had a little snow yesterday and this morning but it didn't last very long and wasn't enough to close school unfortunately!! I hope you have all managed to stay warm and dry wherever you are.
I have been very busy planning for our up-coming holiday and to be honest it can't get here quick enough now-I did feel very silly Monday after work buying shorts and tshirts with my son while it was blizzarding outside!!
I have been asked by a teacher at school to make a wedding card and am struggling so much with it-I don't know if its just me but when someone asks me to make a card I worry so much that it'll be the right design-this one has been about three different ways and its still going to change!!
I spent most of Saturday making cards that other people had asked me for and was exhausted by the end of the day. This one was a requested one and I was asked for a pretty, soft coloured Easter card for a Nan. I had seen the sketch on the Friday Sketch challenge and loved it so thought I would follow that design.
I used an image I found a while ago but unfortunately I can't remember where it came from-so bad of me I know-I'm trying to be a bit more organised with my images! I coloured it with my promarkers and used my First Edition Spring Drop papers. I finished off with a stamped sentiment and some adhesive pearls.
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
Friday Sketch challenge - sketch 38
Allsorts challenge 197 - Springtime
Bearly Mine challenge 77 - Easter
CRAFT challenge 197 - Easter/Spring
Crafty Sentiments challenge - Hello Spring
The Squirrel and the Fox challenge 39- Autumn or Spring
Well thank you for stopping by today, I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week.
Until next time.
Aloha

Oh Boy!
Evening all
wow, thank goodness it's Friday-such a long week!!
Hope you all have a fab weekend planned-I've got a whole day to myself tomorrow to spend crafting and I can't wait! then got my lovely Mum and Dad down for the day on Sunday so should be a lovely weekend.
I thought I'd pop on quickly to post the second baby card I made for school this week-another baby due any day now too so a bit of a baby boom in Maidstone I think!
I got this fab image from Pink Gem, just loved how cute he is and because I needed to make the card in quite a hurry I decided to use the pre-coloured version as he completely matched the papers I wanted to use which is the First Edition Up Up and Away. I added a strip of blue card punched both sides with my Hobbycraft edger punch and a couple of little blue buttons-I really hope the next one is a girl as it would be nice to make a pink one for a change lol!
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
Di's Digi design challenge - Children
Ladybug Crafts challenge - Blue
Moving along with the times challenge - Birds and Bees
Nutcrafters challenge 38 - something beginning with 'B'
Papertake Weekly challenge - Anything Goes
Shopping our Stash challenge 92 - Border Punch
Have a wonderful weekend and I hope you all have a truly Happy Mothers Day and get thoroughly spoilt!!.
Thanks for stopping by and until next time.

Liebster Award
Hello all,
First of all I would like to say 'hello' to my new followers and a big welcome to my blog, I'm so happy you have joined me.
I was so excited when I read this morning that I had been nominated for a Liebster award and I would like to say a huge Thank You to Andree at Ace Cards for this nomination. I have been a follower of Andree's for a little while and think her cards are just awesome and I'm sure you will too-to know that Andree likes my cards too is a huge compliment -so why not pop over and take a peek at Andree's blog here!
A Liebster award is given to blogs that you like which have fewer than 200 followers so as to encourage new followers to visit their blogs.
The rules are: that you thank the person who nominated you for the award and link back to their blog. Then post the award onto your own blog and nominate five bloggers who you admire that have less than 200 followers. Make sure to leave a comment on their blog too to let them know you have given them their award.
So, onto the five people I have chosen to forward this awesome award on to:
Jenny - Craft by Jenny
Kim - Tilly's Crafts
Louise - Bugzbuttonz
Jacqui - Jacqui's little piece of England
Eileen - Star's Cards
All of these ladies make the most amazing cards and I just love to see their beautiful projects-I'm sure they would all appreciate a visit from you, and don't forget to pop by to see Andree's lovely creations too!
I'm off now to do some colouring ready to make some Easter cards and a wedding card over the weekend. Will be back to show you the second baby card I made in the next couple of days.
Thanks so much for stopping by and until next time.
Aloha

Emma in torn jeans-green
Evening to you all
I hope you are all well and that everyone in the UK is enjoying this gorgeous gorgeous weather today-I actually took my cardi off for my drive home-first time this year!!
I have had a couple of busy days and evenings and can't believe its already Wednesday tomorrow, just crazy how quickly the time is going at the moment.
I had another commission for a second baby card for work yesterday which I made last night with a gorgeous image that I have bought from Pink Gem and I'm quite pleased how it came out-will post that later in the week but I wanted to post this card today which I also finished off yesterday as I have seen some challenges which are for the colour green and thought I'd like to play along-it never used to be a favourite colour of mine but it really is growing on me.
It's using my recent new digi from Pink Gem called Emma in torn jeans-I really loved this image and wanted to use it again-she's coloured with my promarkers and I've used some First Edition Up Up and Away papers and added a paper flower, a sentiment and some card candy. I cut a fancy strip along the green card with my fancy edge scissors (I realised recently that I have all these fancy scissors and never use them so am determined to try harder!!) Hope you like it.
I would like to enter her into the following challenges:
Card Makin Mamas challenge - Use green
Digi Haven challenge - Green
Moving along with the Times challenge -Lovely Ladies
Simply Create Too challenge - Use mostly Green
Allsorts challenge - For a Lady
Sweet n Sassy challenge - Girlie
Well I'm off now to take a look round everyone's blogs as I haven't had the chance yet today.
Stay well and thanks so much for stopping by today.
Until next time.

New baby boy
Afternoon all
hope your weekend has been a fab one. I am just exhausted today, been trecking all round Chatham and the outlet today trying to find holiday clothes for my son-only got 3 weeks to go and was getting a bit panicky as he has absolutely no summer clothes to take!! Both me and my visa took a bit of a battering I can tell you lol!!
After the decorating last weekend I was determined to have a lazier time this week so got out all my craft stuff yesterday and just played for the whole afternoon and it was lovely!!
This is the card I made for the teacher at work to send as a baby congrats for another teacher-am just hoping it will be OK.
I found a lovely image of a pram on the internet, coloured it with my promarkers and cut it out with an x cut die. I layered it with some gingham paper and and some papermania spotty paper from a blue capsule pad, added a Nellie Snellen corner die cut and finished off with some glossy accents on the rattle, a bow, liquid pearls, glitter and a sentiment.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Bearly Mine challenge 75 - Anything Goes
Fab N Funky challenge 160 - Pastel Colours
Ladybug Crafts challenge - Colour Blue
Pennys Paper Crafty challenge 116 - Favourite Colour
Party Time Tuesdays challenge 109 - Anything Goes
Hope you have a fab week, thanks so much for stopping by and until next time.

Emily Li'l Duckies Lacy Sunshine
Afternoon all
and finally, its the weekend!!! Hope your week has been a good one-mine has been so so busy but I prefer it that way at work if I'm honest, can't bear having nothing to do as the day just drags too much-not much chance of that where I work lol!!!
I am a bit nervous today as one of the teachers has asked me to make a new baby card for another teacher and it will be sent from all the staff-so no pressure there then!!! Will be trawling the digi sites later for a suitable image and will have to get cracking tomorrow!
I've got the evening to myself tonight so am planning on having a bit of a craft evening and breaking out the huge box of choccies that a lovely teacher bought me today as a thank you -diet's out the window tonight I think!!
This card I have made through the week, a lovely blogger friend pointed me in the direction of these gorgeous digi stamps by Heather Valentin and I have made this card with the free image that Heather sent me so I can enter the challenge over at Lacy Sunshine. I had a look through the images and couldn't resist buying another couple so will hopefully get to make some cards over the next couple of days with them too.
I have used my promarkers to colour and have followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday for the layout. I added some glossy accents to the water and as a couple of splashes but don't think it shows up too well on the photo. I used my hobbycraft edge punch down the middle strip and cut a fancy edge on the yellow paper with some fancy scissors. A couple of flowers finished off the card which is in my favourite shade of blue with yellow added too as I just love these colours together.-I hope you like it.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Lacy Sunshine challenge 2 -Favourite colour
Bearly Mine challenge 75 - Anything goes
Joanna Sheen challenge - Layer it up
Little Miss Muffet challenge 55- Blue and yellow
Sketch Saturday challenge - week 247 (rotated)
My Mum's Craft Shop challenge 3 - Spring has Sprung
I hope you all have a truly wonderful weekend (weathers supposed to be brilliant next week so maybe time for spring???)
thanks so much for stopping by today, until next time.
Aloha
