Well, first of all I'd like to say a huge Hello and Thank You to all my lovely followers who have hung in there, waiting for me to sort myself out and get back to the world of crafting-I'm so pleased you stayed with me and hope that the last year has been good to you all.
So, it's been over a year now and for the first time in a long while I have got back to making some cards again and to my surprise I have really loved the last week. I was seriously on the verge of packing up all my goodies and closing my shed for good but am so glad I decided to give myself time to decide what I wanted to do before being hasty.
It didn't help that my poor shed was totally ruined during the storms, I had water pouring in wrecking anything that wasn't in boxes and I completely lost heart with it all over again. My lovely son climbed up on the roof and recovered it for me and now it feels all nice and dry again and I'm able to get rid of all the horrible polythene that was covering everything up.
I've decided though that for the time being I won't overload myself and will take it slowly so will do less frequent posts than I did before and can enjoy looking at all your lovely cards again too.
I've spent today having a huge sort out, throwing away lots of damaged bits and pieces and then finally got to make a card-I hope you like it!
I used a digi from My Heart Pieces and coloured her with Promarkers. The papers are from Kanban and came free with a copy of Quick Cards Made Easy- it's not the sort of colours I'd usually go for but I really loved the colours together in this pack. I added a die cut sentiment, a paper flower, pearl and some glitter to finish.
I would like to enter her into the following challenges:
The Squirrel and the Fox challenge 70 - Lets Hear it For the Girls
I love Promarkers challenge 221 Flowers
I hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend and until next time.
Aloha
