Dandelion Girl

Hello all, I hope you are well and staying warm.
I had prided myself on the fact I'd stayed clear of all the nasty colds and bugs going around- till now! but it got me in the end and I had to take a couple of days off work this week as I felt so poorly (something I haven't done in nearly five years!!) I've never known such a bad year for illness. Thankfully I feel a little better today so maybe I can get back to some crafting.
I bought this cute image just before Sylvia's store closed and managed to find time this week to colour it up. I used my promarkers and layered her with papers from my Lili of the Valley Country Meadow pack. I added some double punched hearts and a die cut butterfly as well as a little leafy die I got from Die namics. The sentiment is computer generated. Some paper flowers and pearls finished it all off:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Passion for Promarkers # 281-garden life
Loves Rubber Stamps # 136-pink and girly
Simply Create Too # 78 -valentine/use hearts
Polkadoodles challenge - flower power
Digi Designs -include a heart
Paper Creator -anything goes
Inspiration Destination # 18-anything goes
Sister Act # 91 -anything goes

Thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend and until next time.

Somebunny Loves You Valentine

Hello to all my friends and followers today. I hope this is finding you all well and having a good week.
Once again I'm finding myself on the countdown to the next holiday-only 12 working days left!!
I've been spending lots of time crafting just lately but the other day I got one of those 'Just don't know what to use' moments. It's crazy isn't it-I have so many images and stamps and yet couldn't think what to use. I decided to go back to my stamp box rather than my digis and found this lovely stamp which I got from Quick Cards and have never used. I thought it would make a good valentine card for a male so teamed it with some papers from my new Lilli of the Valley pack which were a little darker and not quite so girly. I die cut and embossed a heart shape and punched three little hearts for the left side. I punched a strip for the bottom with a ribbon punch and threaded a strip of different paper through it rather than ribbon. I've also used glossy accents on the hearts on the bunnys mug and his foot:

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Passion for Promarkers # 281-garden life
Robyns Fetish # 247 -animals
Dies R Us # 18 -embossing folder
Scribble and Scrap # 36 -anything goes
That Craft Place -love/valentine
Crafting Musketeers # 21-hats or valentines
City Crafter # 246-cheers
Crafty Sentiments - love, valentines day

Well thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave. I'm off soon for an early night as I feel terrible with a cold I seem to have picked up-roll on spring!!
Until next time.

Mayde's electric broom

Hello to all my friends and followers today, how has your weekend been so far?
I had a lovely day at Mum and Dad's yesterday and had a gorgeous roast dinner-it was just like Christmas all over again!! I was so excited when I got home to find out I'd been picked as one of Mi Ran's winners in her birthday celebrations so I get to choose three of her beautiful images, it's going to be so hard as I love them all!
I had time yesterday to finish of this card, the image is from Lacey Sunshine and is called Mayde's electric broom. I coloured her with promarkers and used some papers from a pack bought at The Works. I printed out a little 'to do' list for her on the computer and found a sentiment from Digital Delights which I thought went so well. The little  chipboard shape was from a magazine giveaway and I added a little gem to it's lid The die cut heart is from Tonic Studio:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Suzy Bees Bloomin challenge # 64 -anything goes- lots of layers

Birthday Lauren

Good afternoon to all my friends, followers and visitors today. I hope you are all having a lovely week and managing to stay warm-I keep looking out for that snow but unfortunately here in Kent it's keeping away-we had about four snowflakes yesterday afternoon and that was it. Very disappointing for a snow lover like me!!
While having a little sort out in my new room I came across this image that Iv'e never used before, I won it in a challenge from Paper Makeup but somehow it managed to slip through the net. I had some lovely Lilli of the Valley papers for Christmas so decided to use them for this.
I coloured Birthday Lauren with my promarkers and punched a stripwith my xcut punch. I double die cut a butterfly and added lots of glitter to her wings and some flowers and gems. The sentiment is computer generated:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Loves Rubber Stamps #135 - use 'B' (butterfly, bling)

I was given this fab image from Star in my Pocket called Cute Heart Valentine to play with, which I thought was just gorgeous and perfect to make for that someone special on Valentines Day or maybe send to a special Mum on Mother's Day.
I coloured her in with my Promarkers, cut the image with my Xcut scalloped circle die and made a faux nestie for behind the image. I used papers from a pack I bought at Hobbycraft called Forever Friends Love. I punched a little strip with my doily punch for the right hand side and added two punched hearts and some paper flowers. A few little pearls and a touch of glitter finished it off:

Wayanette - Wee Stamps

Good afternoon to all my lovely friends and followers today, I hope this finds you having a good week.
First of all I must say a big Hello and welcome to my two new followers, it's so nice to have you join me and I hope you enjoy my blog.
I am looking forward to a trip to the cinema tonight-we don't often go as it is so expensive but I really want to see the new film with Johnny Depp (who I love!!) and a trip to Nandos is on the cards too, so I hope it's good!!
I'm sharing this card today which I made with a wonderful image from Wee Stamps called Wayanette. I was so very upset to see that Sylvia was having to put a halt on her digi shop at Christmas time and would have loved to buy each and every image before the shop closed down. I'm hoping Sylvia will find a way around the problem and can re-open soon.
I coloured this with my Promarkers and used a new paper pack which I got as a table present at Christmas-it was from The Works but doesn't have any make on it unfortunately-the papers in the pack are very pretty though.
I've followed a sketch over at Cheerful Sketches as I thought it was a lovely one to follow. I punched some little butterflies for the top and added some glossy accents to the butterflies on the image. The edger punch is Martha Stewart:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Good afternoon to all my friends and followers today, I hope this finds you all well and having a lovely weekend. We are 'puppy sitting' for my daughters dog Evie today, boy it's hard work and I'd forgotten quite how much work is involved-she is just gorgeous though so I can forgive her!
I spent some time this week crafting with all of my new craft stash that I got for Christmas as I wanted to use this gorgeous image I won from Lacey Sunshine. I have really fallen in love with these images, they are so easy to colour up and are so lovely and clear.
I used 'Ethereal Enchantress Cherry Love Blossom' and coloured her with my promarkers. I used my new Lili of the Valley Promises pad and my two new dies-Xcut large border die and Spellbinders corner die. I added a couple of little punched butterflies, two gems and a little glitter-hope you like it:

Party Time Tuesdays DT post

Hello to all my friends and followers, I hope your week is going well and that you all enjoyed good New Year celebrations, we all went to my sisters for a takeaway and had a lovely time. Back at work now so back to counting the weeks till the next holiday lol!
I'm here today to share my very first DT post for Party Time Tuesdays and I am so excited to be part of this wonderful team.
A new challenge has begun today. The challenges are set monthly on the first Tuesday of the month and the theme is always Anything Goes.
A huge thank you to  Spectrum Noir who are sponsoring this challenge.

I decided to make a New Year card and thought this gorgeous image that I won in a recent challenge fitted the bill perfectly. It's from Lacey Sunshine and is called 1920's Winter Lizabeth.
I wanted to use some clock paper and had a little root around my stash-I found this from the Wellington paper pack so decided on a blue and brown colour scheme to tie in with it.
I made an easel card and layered it with papers from the Lili of the Valley Winter Wishes pack and some Kraft Kard. I die cut a swirl and a little feathery shape and punched a strip with my Martha Stewart doily punch. I cut out one of the clocks and added glossy accents to the clock face -the sentiment is stamped with an old wooden alphabet stamp set that I've never used before but I was quite pleased with how it turned out.  I added some little gems and some glitter to finish off.
So why not pop on over to the challenge blog here and take a look now at the other DT's gorgeous inspiration cards and enter the challenge too!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Natalie and Amy # 28-all things new
Sassy Studio # 262 -ring in the new year
Crafters Cafe # 97 -new

Aud Sentiments # 122 - use 'new' in sentiment
Lacey Sunshine # 49 -sparkly and new
Shopping our Stash challenge # 183 - use something new (image)
