Coffee Time Emma

Hello to you all, hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend so far.
I have had a smashing time today, I spent a lovely few hours shopping in town with my daughter and boy did we get some bargains in the sale! Then I had some chill time in my shed putting together a card for my niece who is a huge Frozen fan-it was one of those cards that was every which way as I just couldn't decide how it should be. It's still not finished but I will post it as soon as it is- I have a feeling it still may change!
My card today is another of my new purchases from Pink Gem Designs called Coffee Time Emma and she's coloured with my Promarkers. I thought she matched perfectly the freebie papers which came from my Quick Cards magazine a while back. I die cut and embossed the backing for her and used my Martha Steward edging punch. The corners were made by cutting a little piece off a corner die. I added some flowers and pearls to finish, hope you like her.

I would like to enter her into the following challenges:

Bathtime Emma in Blue

Good evening to everyone and I hope your weekend has been as sunny as mine. A little too sunny yesterday as I managed to get a bit sunburned lol-had to be more careful today!
Have been having a little play with my newest digi stamps-I just love these and can feel another purchase coming on soon I think!
I used Pink Gem's Emma in the bath and used my Promarkers to colour her in. The papers were downloadable but I am so bad I didn't keep a record of where they came from. I used an Xcut corner punch to shape the corners of the backing paper (am pretty certain it was the first punch I ever bought) and followed the lovely sketch over at Sketch Saturday which caught my eye.
I finished her off with some paper flowers and gems and gave her a fluffy feather to finish as she looked kind of glamourous with her glass of bubbly! Hope you like her.

I would like to enter her into the following challenges:

Sketch Saturday-sketch 315
Shopping our Stash challenge 156- use your oldest punch or die

Until next time.

Roses galore!

Evening all
two posts in one week, I'm going card making crazy at the minute!
I thought I'd just pop in and share my latest card. It's not my usual type but I really enjoyed making it.
I got my new issue of Quick Cards on Saturday and really loved the freebie backing paper stamps -I have been wanting to get some for a while now so was really keen to use them. I also treated myself to some new die cuts too so they all get to feature here-I hope you like it!

The die cuts are X cut nesting dies at The Range (my new favourite shop for craft goodies!)
Stamp is a Papermania signature stamp and the candy, peel-offs and lace are from my stash.

I would like to enter it into the following challenges:

Allsorts challenge 263 -White and gold plus one
Dream Valley challenge 84 - Monochrome
Whimsie Doodles June challenge - Congratulations

Enjoy your week-only four days to go.
Until next time.

A little present

A very good evening to everyone,
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend despite the weather turning a bit rubbish after such a lovely week, just typical isn't it?
I have spent a fair bit of time in my shed recently and have really been enjoying making cards again. I love the lighter evenings as I feel more inclined to go out there-I don't like creeping across the garden in the dark and I always worry about meeting any nasty spiders who might be sheltering in there!!
I recently made this card for my niece using a stamp from Quick Cards magazine and coloured it with my Promarkers-she was so lovely to colour and I tried really hard with her hair which I still find difficult despite looking at endless tutorials!
The papers are from the Dovecraft Garden Party pack and I finished it with some paper flowers coloured with Promarkers to match the papers and a little chipboard sentiment from my stash. Here she is, I hope you like her.

I would like to enter her into the following challenges:

Crafty Girls challenge #20 - anything goes
Papercrafting journey challenge - anything goes
I love Promarkers challenge #223 - use stripes
Seize the Birthday challenge - summertime
Addicted to Stamps challenge # 87 - outdoors

Enjoy the rest of the weekend and until next time.

Bathtime Emma

Good evening to all my lovely friends,
I hope this post finds you well and that you all had a lovely weekend enjoying the sunshine.
I have been buying a couple of new digis from Pink Gem (and have my eye on a couple more lol!!) which I think are so pretty.
The first one here is Bathtime Emma-I just love the Emma digis-and have chosen to use the pre-coloured version as the shade of pink went so so well with the new paper pack I bought last week!

The paper pack was from The Works and was so reasonable at only 99p that I had to buy two different sorts! The gingham paper was a freebie from a magazine and I just added some glitter glue to the flower and a few sparkly gems to the corners as I wanted to try and leave it uncluttered to focus on the gorgeous image.

I would like to enter it into the following challenges:

A Gem of a Challenge # 121 Use gingham paper
Stampin for the Weekend -Anything Goes
One Stitch at a Time challenge # 216 Use a Digi

Well that's all from me for this time.
I hope you all have a wonderful week and until next time.
Aloha
