Fizzy birthday balloon

Hello to everyone today, I hope you are all well.
I'm SO pleased to be back online-wow, just what did we do before the internet?? One day and I was climbing the walls!! I did try using my phone but boy was it slow and I kept hitting the wrong buttons, it was very frustrating.
Anyway, hopefully normal service has been resumed and I can now pop round to see everyone's lovely cards once I've done my post for today.
This card is one I made a little while back for a family member using a pre-coloured image from Fizzy Moon, I love these little bears!
I decided to make an easel card and layered him with some papers from my stash. I die cut a flourish and punched some stars too. The balloon was decoupaged to make it stand out a little and the sentiment is from a freebie set layered with a die cut scalloped circle:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Creative Inspirations # 311-cute critters
Crafty Gals# 17 - stripes or dots

Bella Sweet Tea

Hello to all my friends and followers today. I hope you are all having a lovely weekend.
We had such a good day yesterday, we went to my brothers house for a family day and had a 'casino' evening which was huge fun! I didn't manage to win so have no plans for a trip to Vegas now!
I really must spend some time crafting today but feel so tired after yesterday-maybe a little snooze first?
My card today is one I made for my Mums birthday next week. I used a Fairy Ink image called Bella Sweet Tea as Mum does love a nice cup of tea!! The papers are from a Lili of the Valley pack and I added some paper flowers and a die cut heart. I wanted to keep this one a little less fussy as Mum's not a one for too much of the frilly stuff.
The wording is die cut with an X cut die and the sentiment is computer generated.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Scribble & Scrap #43-anything goes
Addicted to Stamps # 103-flowers
Crafting by Designs -mothers day
Inspiration Destination # 30-anything goes
Digi choosday -spots & dots
Creative Card Crew -sentiment
Crafty Cardmakers -dots
Creative Inspirations #310-anything goes

Well thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave. Right I think I'm off for that nap now!!
Until next time.

Evie

Hello all, I hope this finds you well and having a good week so far.
I'm well and truly back to work and feel like the Easter break was a lifetime ago-working in a school is definitely full on most of the time!
My card today is the second card I made for my daughter's birthday as I couldn't decide which one to give to her. She loves mermaids so I made one of those first, then took this photo of her little puppy Evie and thought it would make a good card for her. In the end I decided on this one and I think she was pleased with it. Evie is such a cutie-a cross between a Shih tzu and a yorkshire terrier and she has the biggest ears which just won't lay down-hence her name (she's named after a Pokemon who has rather large ears lol!!!)
I made an easel card as there were so many things I wanted to put on this card I needed the most space possible!! I die cut a frame for Evie's photo using an x cut die (which I am a bit disappointed with really as it doesn't cut very well -and guess who can't find the receipt???)
I used papers from First Edition and added some paper flowers and pearls and a little wooden heart. I die cut Kara's name and the sentiment is computer generated. The chipboard flower was a magazine freebie and the corners on the base are punched with an xcut punch. The white strip is cut with a Martha Stewart doily punch.
This is the card I forgot to photograph before giving it to Kara so she kindly photographed it and sent it back to me:

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Sweet Stamps #218-pearls
Creative Card Crew #85-add a sentiment
Papertake Weekly -cute as a button
Suzy Bees #76-Anything goes with a twist dies/punches
ABC challenge -H for Happy Birthday
Fussy n Fancy - #137-spring flowers
Love to Scrap #52-anything goes
Inspiration Destination # 30-anything goes
Craft your Passion -anything goes

Well that's all from me for now, thank you so much for stopping by today -I hope you enjoy the rest of your week.
Take care and until next time.

Alissandra carnival enchantress

A big hello to all my friends and followers today, I hope you are all enjoying a lovely weekend-a really sunny one here in Kent.
Well, it's the end of the holidays now and once again I don't know quite where the time went to and as always I don't feel I've done all the things I'd planned but hey, there's always next holidays I guess!!
One thing I did do was spend some time crafting and my card today is one I managed to get made last week with a beautiful image from Lacy Sunshine. I coloured her with Promarkers as always and layered her with some papers from two different packs from The Works. I added some die cut shapes and lots of little pearls and glittered the image with loads of glitter. Some paper flowers and little punched butterflies finished it all off.
I think I may give this to my niece Emily who turns 18 this year as she loves all things 'mardi gras'.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

The Good Life

Good evening to all my friends and followers today, hope you are all having a good week. The weather here in the UK is certainly beautiful at the moment, long may it continue!!
I have had a quiet second week of my holidays with lots of time for myself today so decided I would spend it at my craft table. Last weekend while I was busy colouring some images with my Promarkers, hubby decided he wanted to get in on the action so I passed him this fab image from Just Inklined and said he could have a go. I must say I was most impressed with the outcome-and I know what to do next time I'm pushed for time-I'll outsource all my colouring!!!!
He chose these colours so it was then up to me to match up some papers (not the way I normally do it so it was a bit of a challenge). I found these in my stash which I thought went really well, I'm afraid I don't know where they came from as the cover is long gone. I punched a strip in Kraft card with a Martha Stewart edger punch and added a computer generated sentiment and some card candi and there we have it!

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Creative Inspirations #308 -a trio of (card candi)
Love to Scrap # 51-dots or stripes
Crafting Musketeers # 24-mans world
My Time to Craft # 286-get Krafty

As you like it -fave alcohol markers (promarkers as so easy to use)
Inspiration Destination # 28-anything goes
Fan Tastic  Tuesday challenge #80-dies or punches
Penny's Paper Crafty challenge #222-anything goes

Well that's all from me for now, hopefully we can all be sitting in a deckchair enjoying the weather this weekend!
Thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave.
Until next time.
Aloha

Party Time Tuesdays new challenge begins

Hello to all my friends and followers today. Hope this finds you all well and rested after the weekend and that you all had a wonderful time.
My post today is to let you all know that a new challenge has begun today over at
Party Time Tuesdays. Our theme as always is 'anything goes' so there's plenty of scope for you to get crafty and enter a project or two.
Huge thanks are due to Crafters Companion who are our sponsors for this month:

I decided to make a Good Luck card with this fab image from Robyns Fetish called Lucky Leprechaun. He was such a joy to colour up with my Promarkers. I cut him out with an X cut scalloped circle die, adding a faux nestie and layered him with some papers from both First Edition and Wild Rose Studio. The sentiment is a clear stamp from Hobbycraft and I added some sparkle to his buckles and coins with a gold gel pen. I punched a fancy strip with my Martha Steward edger punch and also punched some small clover leaves too. I finished off with some green gems:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Catch the Bug-anything goes
Creative Knockouts # 83-dies/punches

Easter treat bag

Good afternoon friends and followers, well, as usual the Easter weekend has turned out to be grey, dreary and dull here. I do hope you are all having fun though whatever the weather!
So far the puppy sitting is going OK, she has totally worn me out but I will miss her when she goes home tomorrow. The worst bit has been trying to keep her away from Tilly the cat-the first time they saw each other on Monday it was like a scene from Benny Hill-the cat ran, the dog followed, then all four of us ran after them both!! Since then Tilly has spent the whole time hiding in the wardrobe bless her. I'm sure she'll be glad to get the house back to herself.
I haven't managed to get much time to myself for crafting but I did insist on a few hours today to finish this gift bag for my Mum and Dad for Sunday- I bought them a little pack of chocolate and wanted something special to put it all in. The bag held a packed lunch for staff on a development day and in true crafter style I went round collecting up as many as I could find afterwards!!
I liked the sketch over at Creative Inspirations and thought I'd like to incorporate it into my bag. I used a cute bunny image which came as a freebie stamp on a magazine and coloured him with my Promarkers (which have grown over the holidays, naughty ebay!!!!) I also used my freebie paper pack from Nitwits, I so love these colours!! I've added some die cut butterflies, flowers and pearls and coloured a heart shaped doily for behind the image. The wording was die cut with an Xcut die and a little glitter finished it all off!

I'd like to enter my bag into the following challenges:

Classy Cards n Such #78- bunnys rule
Crafters Cafe -# 110 easter
Creative Inspirations -anything goes, option of a sketch (8)
Creative Knockouts # 83-die cut punch frenzy
4 crafty chicks # 240-easter
Rubys Rainbow # 101 -bunnies
Fab n Funky # 253-lots of layers
Try it on Tuesdays -they who have wings
Glitter n sparkle #130 -easter
CRAFT -inspiration photo

Wishing you all a wonderful Easter weekend, have lots of fun whatever you do.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave.
Until next time.
Aloha
