Bella in Pot

Hello to all my friends and followers today, hope you are all having a lovely weekend and that the weather is being kind to you all.
First of all I would like to welcome my new followers, it's really good to have you with me, I hope you enjoy my little blog.
I am having a quiet Bank Holiday weekend so far, the only day out we planned is tomorrow and the forecast is heavy rain all day so it's rain coats at the ready!!
I haven't done much crafting over the last couple of days as there's been so much other stuff going on but I did manage to put this card together. Having said that I'm really not happy with it-I don't know if it's the papers or the colour scheme but somethings not quite right to my mind.
I used a lovely Wild Rose Studio clear stamp that I won in a challenge, coloured with Promarkers, adding a little Tim Holz distressed ink for the sky. The papers were from a magazine and I've used a holly punch for the leaves, adding gems for the berries. I threaded a strip of paper through a strip of card punched out with a punch bought from Hobbycraft.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Crafting with Friends #5-anything goes
Jo's Scrapshack #103 -anything goes
Creative Knockouts #104-anything goes
Digi Choosday #34-use 2 papers
Passion for Promarkers #311 -animals
Creative Inspirations #324-anything goes
Inspiration Destination #48 -anything goes
Simply Papercraft #12-anything goes
Robyns Fetish #279-square cards only

Thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave. Enjoy your week and until next time.

Butterfly flower girl

Hello today friends and followers from a very rainy and grey Kent. I hope you are all well and maybe enjoying a little more sun than I am.
I am on a little bit of a high today as I had a check up at the dentist and got the all clear-I am really not a good patient and dread each visit!
I think to celebrate I may have to spend some time at my craft desk later.
This card I made recently with a gorgeous image from Ching Chou Kwik. I coloured her as always with my Promarkers and used the Promises paper pack from Lili of the Valley. I used a Martha Stewart edging punch and the corner die is a freebie from a magazine. The sentiment is from Netty's cards. I added lots of glitter, a little punched and embossed heart and some paper flowers and gems:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Flapper Emma

Hello blogging friends, I hope you are all well today.
First of all I would like to welcome my newest follower Michelle to my blog, I'm so pleased to have you join me.
I am managing to fit a little time in for crafting at the moment and recently bought this beautiful image from Pink Gem so really wanted to make her up into a card. I really love the Emma images and this one was no exception!
I felt she should have a gold colour scheme and dug around in my box of papers and found this one from Michele R designs Shabby Vintage Rose collection which I've backed with some white card sponged with gold ink. The stripey gold paper is from a Marianne Designs pack called Twinset & Pearls.
I cut the image with a Nellie Snellen oval die and coloured her in with Promarkers and a little gold glitter gel pen which doesn't show up too well unfortunately. I die cut a fancy corner and also cut some feathery shapes which were from Marianne Designs.as I thought they matched the ones on her hat. I sponged a paper doily with the same gold ink. I coloured a few paper flowers with Promarkers and added some card candi for the middles. A little ticket from Michele R finsihed it off and I added some peel offs too:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

A Gem of a Challenge # 151-one for the girls
The Corrosive challenge #231 - feminine

For my card I got to work with this gorgeous image from Sami Stamps called My First Day which can be found here. I was also lucky enough to get to work with papers by Michele R Designs and the papers I used are from a pack called Shabby Vintage Rose.
My first thought when I saw the image was to make a back to school card but then I had the idea that the image could also be used as a card for someone who may be leaving or going travelling so I went with this design:

view of inside using Michele R insert:

I coloured the image with Promarkers and backed the papers and image with some Kraft card. I printed out a little ticket and an envelope from the elements pack and also used the banner too for the top of the card. The wording was cut using an Xcut die and I added an arrow and some little green pearls to finish.

Abigail heart wishes

Hello friends and followers, I hope this finds you all well.
I have had a little bit of a crazy time the last few days and haven't managed much in the way of craft or blog time. On Friday we did a mad sudden dash to view a car as ours was getting a little old and a bit tired -so drove for 3 hours down to Poole in Dorset. Glad to say the trip wasn't wasted and we did buy the car which is lovely and we got a beautiful day out as a bonus. I'd never been there before and thought it is a stunning place-the weather helped too and it was hot and sunny all day. Then yesterday was our day in London so today I was exhausted!
I had made this card recently but hadn't got round to posting it so here she is now-a gorgeous image I won in a challenge from Lacy Sunshine, coloured with Promarkers. I used some more Michele R papers and elements which I love just lately and sponged the backing layers with a gold ink pad. I cut her with a Nellie Snellen oval die and added some paper flowers which were coloured with Promarkers too. I embossed and punched a little heart and added gems and lots of glitter too:

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

The Paper Shelter v#213 -punches/dies

Happy Anniversary bear

A very good evening to all my friends and followers today.
I hope you are having a lovely week. I have had a quiet one, just pottering through the holidays which I always love. I'm really looking forward to Saturday though as I'm off to London to see the Phantom of the Opera with my daughter, her friend and my sister.  A really girly day full of laughs, just what I need right now!
It is our anniversary this week and I couldn't decide what sort of card to make for hubby, so I decided to follow a few challenges and see if that would help. While rummaging through my images I found this fab bear which I'd won in a challenge not so long ago. I thought he'd be perfect to use as a starting point.
I liked the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches and also the colours to follow at Colour Throwdown.
I coloured the image with Promarkers and layered him with some First Edition papers from the Animal Antics pack.  I used some Nellie Snellen dies to cut out the circles and the sentiment is from Nettys Cards:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Crafty Gals corner #31- lets celebrate

Rory's camera

Evening all
I hope you are all well. I have had a lovely day by the sea with Mum and Dad and a gorgeous pub lunch too! The sun shone which was nice and even though it was a bit blowy it was a smashing day.
I am slowly getting back to normal with all my jobs -and even managed to spend a little time crafting yesterday too.
I coloured up this sweet image from Lacy Sunshine which I've had for a little while. I decided to give it an old fashioned 'black and white' feel so coloured it with Promarkers in greys and blacks. The papers are some from my stash but I'm afraid I can't remember exactly where they came from, I have a feeling they were from Lakeland some while ago.
I die cut the image with a Nellie Snellen oval die and backed all of the layers with silver mirri card. I stamped a couple of film strips with a stamp bought from Hobbycraft and added some black gems and glitter to the flash cube on the camera:

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

City Crafter Challenge #273-Snap
Dream Valley #112-stripes/checks
Digi Designs -monochrome
I Love Promarkers # 280-3 or more layers
Paper Creator Crafts #41-dies/punches
Craft your Passion #273-anything goes
A Crafty Mess #1-anything goes
Allsorts #322-pearls and gems

Well that's all from me for today, I'm off to make a nice cup of coffee and then visit all your lovely blogs.
Thank you so much for visiting me today, and for any comments you may wish to leave.
Until next time.

Back with an Anniversary card!

Hello all,
goodness, I can't believe that week has passed by so quickly-I hope everyone is well!
I have had a week away, first visiting family in Newcastle and then a four day visit to Whitby and Scarborough. Unfortunately the weather was almost watching for us going away and it was like a switch being thrown from gorgeous hot and sunny weather to complete and utter solid rain for the whole time we were away!! It really did put a downer on the break-it's hard to keep smiling when you're constantly soaked and freezing.  I really did feel sorry for all the families away with small children, it's just not fair when you look forward to your holiday-there's just nothing like building sandcastles on the beach and jumping the waves (and that's just me, lol!!)
Anyway, if you've been away I hope you managed to find some sunshine.
I have tried to keep up with your lovely creations each day but there was limited internet in the first B&B and none at all in the second so it was snatched minutes whenever we ate anywhere with free wifi I'm afraid so I wasn't able to comment at all.
So, onto my card for today, I had to make a card for my Mum and Dad's anniversary which is this week and couldn't think what image to use, then I remembered this cutie from a set which came recently with Quick Cards. The set was called Moonbeam Meadow and I coloured it with Promarkers and cut it out with a Nellie Snellen oval die. The backing paper is from Michele R and I used a Martha Stewart doily punch for the strip at the bottom. I made a fancy corner with a die from Creativity magazine and punched two hearts from card embossed with a dotty folder, both were coloured with Promarkers. The flowers are punched out and have a little green pearl in the middle from The Works. The sentiment was one my dad made me on the computer:

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

I love Promarkers #280 -3 or more layers
My Time to Craft #301-dies flowers image
Allsorts challenge # 322-pearls, gems
Card Mania #71 -anniversary
A Gem of a Challenge # 150-animals of birds
Stamping Sensations - anything goes with stamps, dies
Paper Creator Crafts76 -dies, punches
CCC digi Creations # 30-pretty in pink
A bit more time to Craft #1-anything goes.

Well, thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave. I promise I will get back to normal visiting you all properly and leaving some comments on all your lovely work from tomorrow.
Until next time.
Aloha
