Lucky Butterfly

Hello all, I hope everyone has had  a good week and you are looking forward to a fab weekend.
A quick post from me today to share a card I made for a work colleague who left today. I used a stamp and some pretty papers which came free with past issues of Quick Cards. I used Promarkers to colour the butterfly and die cut the circles with a Nellie Snellen die. I cut a leafy flourish with a Die namites die from Ebay and punched some slots with a Hobbycraft punch to thread the ribbon through. I added some punched butterflies and a few gems. The sentiment is from Netty's Cards, also cut with the circle die,  and some paper flowers coloured with promarkers finished off:

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Craft your Passion #300-anything goes
Passion for Promarkers #334-dies/punches
City Crafter #300-polka dots
Addicted to Stamps #182 -make your mark
That's Crafty -circle it
Southern Girls -sparkle
Create & Inspire #40-anything goes

Well thank you so much for stopping by today for a visit and for any comments you may wish to leave. Take care and until next time.

Arielle Flora Fae

Hello to all my friends and followers today.
I hope you are enjoying good weekends-mine is just lovely as it's the start of our half term week off and I was taken out by my daughter for a gorgeous afternoon tea as a belated birthday treat!
I'm hoping to spend some time crafting but my week is already filling up fast-five days is just not enough!!
My card today is made with a gorgeous freebie digi given away on the Fairy Ink blog. I decided straight away I wanted her to be coloured in purple and green so chose to use  some of my papers from Lili of the Valley.
I coloured the image with Promarkers and added some glitter to her wings. I punched the corners of the image with a Martha Stewart punch and cut along the edge with some fancy edge scissors. I die cut some leafy flourishes and added some paper flowers, some gems and a sentiment from Netty's cards which I die cut using an x cut die:

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Simply Papercraft # 23-anything goes
Crafting with Friends #14-anything goes

CAS valentine

Hello all, how is your weekend?
We had some  gorgeous sunshine this morning so decided on a drive to the seaside for a wander and a bit of lunch. It was gorgeous (if a lot on the windy side) and we found a fab new place which does a Sunday carvery so all in all a lovely day.
My card today was the second card I made for the teacher at work to choose from so made this one a CAS style.
I used some red and white card and cut a fancy heart using a Tonic Studio die. The sentiment is from a Hobbycraft set and  I added some paper flowers,  a few little punched hearts and some red pearls. This is quite different from the cards I normally do and did find it a bit of a challenge.
Apologies for the awful photo but the days here have been so dark it's really difficult to get a good picture!)

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Challenge up your Life #34 -no designer paper
Allsorts #349 -clean and simple
Crafty Calendar -love is in the air
Suzy Bees bloomin challenge #116-love
Robyns Fetish #302-valentines
CAS on Sunday #76-valentine
Corrosive Challenge #2-love love love
One Stitch at a Time #255-love is in the air
4 Crafty Chicks #284-love

Well thank you so much for stopping by today, I'm off now to do the usual Sunday night 'getting ready for work' ritual :(
Have a lovely week and until next time.
Aloha

Bundle of Hearts

A big hello today, hope you are all well.
I am just popping on quickly to share my newest card with you all and to enter a few challenges.
One of the teachers as work asked me to make a card for his wife for Valentines day-always a bit of a challenge when you don't know what sort of style people would choose if they went into a shop I think!
In the end I made two, this one with a cutesy type image and another more CAS style which I'll share later on.
For this one I used this gorgeous Crafty Sentiments image that I recently won in a challenge and coloured him with Promarkers-adding a touch of glossy accents to his little nose.
The gorgeous papers are from two different sets by Lozzy of A Bit More Time to Craft (which you can stand a chance of winning if you pop over there and enter our current challenge!!)
I used my new stitched square dies and layered it all with some Kraft card, punching along the left side with an Xcut punch.
The sentiment is from Netty's cards (I am such a fan of these sentiments as they always seem to fit any shape or style of card) and added some paper flowers and pearls from Hobbycraft and finished off with a little die cut heart:

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Crafty Gals Corner #57-love is in the air
In the Pink #87-with love
Craft Rocket #8-valentines/love
Cute Card Thursday #411-in the pink
Star in my Pocket -all about love
Sasayaki Glitter #1-valentines day/love
Inky Chicks #62 -love/hearts
Crafty Sentiments -anything goes
Passion for Promarkers #331-favourite (my paper flowers & sentiment)

Well thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave me, I do so appreciate each and every one.
Take care and until next time.
Aloha
