DIY Alf

Evening all
Hope this post finds you all well and enjoying your week.
I am on the countdown now for the half term and I'm so lucky really as my school gets a two week half term in October. It has been a very long term and we are all so ready for a break-hopefully lots of lovely craft time too!!
My card today was one of the ones I made at the weekend that I'm not really happy with, I have no idea why or whats missing, I just know something is!! It is for my daughters boyfriend who has just signed up for a carpentry apprenticeship so I thought this image was perfect!! It is from Digi Stamp Boutique and is coloured with my promarkers. The papers are from the Wellington pack and I found a cute little button shaped like a pencil (well, every good carpenter has a pencil, right????) I added a little strip of hessian at the back to finish.
