Hello everyone
this post is to share some very sad news. I and my team members at the Digi Garden heard yesterday that Jacqui McNeill the owner and designer of the Digi Garden had sadly passed away.
Jacqui had been quite poorly for a little while but none of us expected to hear such sad news and all of us are shocked and extremely saddened and I know Jacqui and her gorgeous little images will be so very missed by all of us in blogland. My thoughts and prayers are with Jacqui's family at this sad time.
For anyone that has bought digi images recently there is a message on the Digi Garden website from Lisa (Jacqui's sister) advising of how to contact her.
I wanted to post a card in Jacqui's memory and decided on this one as it was the one I sent in when Jacqui was asking for applications to join the Digi Garden Divas-Jacqui commented that it was 'just so stinkin' cute' which made me laugh at the time and makes me so sad now.
To me it sums up what Jacqui loved to do-create gorgeous little images for us all so that we could lovingly make them into our cards and she never stopped drawing even when she was so poorly-I requested a special image from her only recently and it was drawn and ready to use within a couple of days.
So Jacqui, this one is for you in your memory, I have loved being a part of the Digi Garden Divas -we will all miss you so very much-a very big Aloha to you and thank you for allowing me to share your beautiful work

My Heart Pieces
Morning all
I hope wherever you are that you are managing to get a peek at that sun which we don't seem to have seen for quite some time-it makes such a difference when it puts in an appearance doesn't it!
I have had quite a productive weekend so far, am on a mission to try and save some money each month so have cancelled the HD part of our sky package (could never tell the difference anyway!!) and managed to chop several pounds off my phone package by changing network providers now my contract is up. Am now wondering what else I can find to reduce (it DEFINITELY won't be craft supplies though as I seem to manage to spend a fortune on them!!!)
Popped over to the Range yesterday and came away £15 worse off lol!!!!
My card today is one I made with a cute digi image from My Heart Pieces. I coloured her with my promarkers and used some papers from an old Papermania pack. I added some ribbon I have had for ages and never used and cut out a sentiment from some my lovely Dad made for me. To finish I added a paper flower, some blue pearl gems and some liquid pearls, I hope you like her.
I would like to enter her into the following challenges:
Creative Inspirations challenge198 - Anything goes with option of flowers
I Love Promarkers challenge 152 - Anything goes
Little Miss Muffet challenge 53 - Hearts and Flowers
Stampin for the Weekend challenge 25 - Something girlie
Papercrafting Journey challenge - For a girl
Lisabdesigns challenge - Spring
The Cutie Pie challenge 36 - Use 3 different textures
Dream Valley challenge 49 - Girls Girls Girls
Joanna Sheen challenge - 3,2,1
Thank you for stopping by today, have a wonderful week and until next time.
Aloha

Elliot's Gifts
Evening everyone
I hope you are all having a lovely week-I am having a very nice short week as I finally got my 'snow day' on Monday. I got so much done and would just love to be able to do a four day week every week-I even fitted in some craft time in the afternoon, just love crafting in the house!!
I am trying to get a bit ahead of myself with birthdays and other occasions this year as far too often I am rushing to make a card and find that takes the enjoyment out of it when there is pressure to get something made quickly-so far so good but it is only January-I'll let you know how well I kept to it around the middle of the year!!!!
My card today is made with such a cute Digi Garden image-Elliot's Gifts which you can find here, I just love this little fella and there are some other designs featuring Elliot over at Digi Garden for you to choose from. There is also a customer challenge running which is currently a photo inspiration-you can find it here. You need to use a Digi Garden image to qualify but if you take a quick peek on facebook and like their page Jacqui very kindly has a Freebie on a Friday so there's no excuse not to enter!
I coloured Elliot with my Promarkers-the brown and flowery papers are from Wild Rose Studios and the heart paper was from my stash. I added a little chipboard heart which came free with a magazine and added some card candy to finish, hope you like him!
I would like to enter him into the following challenges:
I Love Promarkers challenge 152 - Anything Goes
The Paper Shelter challenge 96 - Anything Goes
Inky Impressions challenge 94 - Celebrate
Paper Playtime challenge2 - Use some brown
My Mums Craft Shop challenge 1 - Anything Goes
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your week.
Until next time
Aloha

Tea for Two
Afternoon all
first of all a big 'hello' to my new follower and welcome to my blog, thank you so much for joining me!
Well, finally Kent gets its share of snow!! I'm not sure it will be enough for a 'snow day' tomorrow, we'll just have to wait and see what it does for the rest of the day.
I hope you are all managing to keep warm-I just LOVE the snow, I know, a lot of people tell me its not good for lots of people and I know that, but there's nothing like sitting by the window watching the world outside turn white!!
It's also been a huge excuse to spend a big chunk of the day crafting-I've got my new dining table in a right old mess today and have enjoyed every single minute.
This is the first card I have made, it's for an aunt who has a birthday next week and as she's a little older I felt the cute girly images wouldn't be appropriate for her-this stamp set was one of the bargains I found at Hobbycraft last weekend and perfectly matches the paper pack that Mum and Dad got me for Christmas, it's Dovecraft and is called 'Tea for Two'. I used my promarkers to colour, have layered the image and punched the edge of the green with another of my bargains, a hobbycraft edging punch. I added a paper flower and a flower sticker to the middle and stamped and cut out the greeting. Hope you like it!

Racing Ted in brown
Evening all
Hope this finds you nicely tucked up in the warm with a nice hot drink (if you are in the UK that is!!)
I keep checking the weather report waiting for that snow but am not sure that my part of the country is going to get so much. I have new wellies at the ready too!!
It's got to that time of the year again when its just too cold to go out and play in my shed so I've loaded up my big travel bag and can hopefully sit in the nice warm dining room to craft for a bit- at least until the weather warms up and I get told to clear all my bits and chased back to my shed!!
I have a couple of cards on the go at the moment but both need a few final touches so will hopefully post them in the next week-one was made with some wonderful 'clearance' goodies bought at Hobbycraft at the weekend-there's nothing quite like getting a good old craft bargain and I came home quite over the moon!!
I suddenly realised this morning that I need to send a male birthday card quite urgently (which I hadn't prepared for) and remembered I had one in my box that I made at the end of last year. I also realised that I had forgotten to post it on my blog so that's what I'm doing today.
This card was made with my Racing Ted stamp which I've had for ages and really love; he's been used for male cards as well as driving congrats in the past. He's coloured with my promarkers and I used papers from the Wellington pack and added some card candy to finish, hope you like him.
I'd like to enter him into the following challenges:
Penny's Paper-Crafty challenge 110 - Teddy Bears
Papercrafting Journey challenge - Anything Goes
Bearly Mine challenge 69 - Anything Goes
Squirrel and the Fox challenge 35 - Anything Goes
Fab n Funky challenge 154 - Get Moving
My Mums Craft Shop challenge 1 - Anything Goes
Dream Valley challenge - Anything Goes
Enjoy your evening and I'll hopefully see you at the weekend with my Tea for Two card!
Thanks so much for stopping by and until then.
Aloha

Love Heart Treats
Evening all
My goodness how cold was it today?? We had a little snow this afternoon but it was a bit half hearted-we are going to need a little more than that to get a day off I think!!
I just want to thank everyone who very kindly left me messages on how to get around the problem of uploading my photos to blogger-it was so kind of you all and thankfully now I have it all sorted. I took everyone's suggestions to one of the techie guys at my school and he gave me a list of things to try in order of easyness-luckily the first thing I tried solved the problem which was to use google chrome instead of normal internet explorer!
I have been getting back into the swing of card making since my break at Christmas and am finding that I am keen to get going again.
I have spent the last couple of days making these little gift bags for Valentine's Day-one for each of my children-using a couple of new images from the Digi Garden, they are just so so cute and I have loved working with them. Jacqui over at the Digi Garden has been so busy adding lots of gorgeous new images to the store-if you fancy taking a look then why not pop over here.
For Emily's hearts on a String I used papers from my stash and added some shiny hearts and a 3D flower embellishment and added a rub-on sentiment.
For Elliot's Valentine Heart I used papers from my stash and added some little alphabet chipboard letters and a shiny heart embellishment.
Each card has a blank space at the back to write a greeting and they are then attached to the little bags filled with sweetie love hearts-hope you like them.
I would like to enter these into the following challenges:
Papercrafting Journey challenge - Anything Goes
Stampin for the Weekend challenge - Anything Goes
Totally Papercrafts challenge 149 - Use ribbon
Ladybug Crafts challenge - Anything but a card
Divas by Design challenge 66 - Anything Goes
Dream Valley challenge 48 -Anything Goes
Card Makin Mamas challenge Anything Goes
Joanna Sheen challenge - New Beginnings
Well nearly time for dinner so better get going.
Hope you all have a lovely week, stay warm and thanks so much for stopping by.
Until next time.

Molly's Valentine Gifts
Evening all
Wow second post in one day!!!
I still can't upload from my computer but have found a way to save a picture in my sidebar and then copy it across from there but it won't let my re-size-all very annoying and very long winded!!!!
Anyway, here is the picture of the card I made earlier today-I used one of the gorgeous new valentine images from the Digi Garden, there are so many new cuties that have been added to the website it's hard to choose!! This is Molly's Valentine Gifts and is coloured as always with my Promarkers and has some glitter added to her flower and little bow.
I wanted to enter the cutie pie challenge so have followed their gorgeous sketch and used some Wild Rose Studio papers, adding some little gems to finish, hope you like her!
I would like to enter her in to the following challenges:
The Cutie Pie challenge 35 - Sketch
Penny's Paper crafty challenge 109 - Anything goes
Digi Haven challenge - Sparkle & Bling
Robyns Fetish challenge 141 -Anything Goes
Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week.
Until next time.

Help!!!!
Evening all
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying the start of the new year.
I was determined to have a little break from my crafting over the holidays as there was so much going on and I was beginning to feel a little overloaded. The last time I felt like that I ended up avoiding my craft shed for over a year and I didn't want that to happen again.
I am raring to go now and have made a new card and begun a new project which my lovely cat has walked over with muddy paws tonight so that will need a little TLC before I can post it grrrrrrr!!
I just tried to upload the photo of my new card and when the little window opened up there was no upload button at all so I have no way of adding it to this post-really frustrating and I don't know what to do now-has anyone had any experience of this happening? I would value any help as I am at a total loss-I've tried closing blogger and even completely shutting down my computer but nothing works!!!!!
Hopefully I can sort this problem and if so I'll pop back on to post the photo of my card.
Thanks for stopping by today.
