Lil Patch of Crafty Friends challenge 4


A very warm welcome to all my friends and followers today-I hope you are all well and have had a lovely Valentines Day.
This post is to let you all know that challenge number 4 has started over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends today - I can't believe we are up to challenge four already, where does the time go???
The challenges are always Anything Goes so why not pop on over and take a look here.

I was given this adorable paper called Butterflies & Hummingbirds from Michele R Designs to work with and I just love it. I decided to team it with this lovely image from Paper Makeup Stamps called Danni Fairy and coloured her with Promarkers. I decided to make a criss cross card and layered the image and the paper with silver mirri card to give it a bit of a shine. I cut out the little postcard and made a pocket for it to sit in so that it can be removed to write a message on the back. I double die cut a butterfly from patterned paper and mirri card for the front and added two paper flowers and a little ticket. The ticket and the sentiment are from the elements set and I added some gems and lots of glitter to finish it all off:

    I love the fold of this card, and tried to make one today. Great colors, and the image you colored awesome, love the paper and the butterfly is a nice touch too.
