White Wedding

Evening all,
just a very quick post today as had my day totally thrown off track by hubby arriving home at lunch time and dragging me to town to try and get some school wear for my son who was not being very co-operative this morning when we went. (He spent more time texting his friends than looking for shoes, shirts etc and to be honest it drove me a bit nuts!!)
Anyway, my card today is a wedding card as I thought I might need some for my craft fair stash soon and I hadn't yet made any!!
I used a very old stamp of mine which I think I bought at hobbycraft when it first opened in Maidstone-I used a flowery stamp with silver pigment ink to make a background paper and cut a flowery edged backing strip with my Martha Stewart 'all around the page' punch which I bought from QVC when it was on special offer!! I added some gemstones and tiny punched butterflies.
I am not really too sure about this one-after I'd made it I wished I had used my embossing powders to raise the image but it was a bit late by then  (I may well make another and do so next time!)

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Crafters Companion -challenge 27 - best friends
Totally Papercraft -challenge 130 -inspired by a song ( I will always love you, Whitney Houston

Until next time then
Aloha

  3. Lovely WOW card. Although I have to be honest, I prefer the song title of your blog post to the song you were inspired by ;)

Thanks for joining in my challenge at Totally Papercrafts this week.
