Rosy cheek Emma in Pink

Hello to all my friends and followers.
I hope this post finds you all well and that you all had a wonderful time at Christmas-boy, didn't it go quickly??
I had a lovely time, a very quiet day spent with family and then a bigger family get-together on Boxing Day. I had lots of lovely presents and quite a few new crafty goodies to play with so I can't wait to get crafting again and put them to use!
I'm finding it so nice to have all my craft bits in my newly decorated room instead of the shed, and I'm much more inclined to pop up and sit at my table for a little while now so I've decided to permanently move all my craft stash inside. That'll keep me busy for a few weekends, sorting through it all. I've collected so much over the years and there's so much I never touch it will be good to have a right old sort out!
I made this card during a quiet afternoon during the holidays. The image is from Art by Miran, called Rosy cheek Emma and I've coloured her with my Promarkers. The papers are Lilli of the Valley from the Country Meadow pack.
I've die cut some swirls and a butterfly and glittered the butterfly (not that it shows up too well in the photo I'm afraid). I added a doily, a couple of paper flowers and some pearls and the sentiment is from a freebie set stamped straight onto the paper.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Sparkles challenge # 63 -anything goes
Robyns Fetish challenge # 244- anything goes
Creative Card Crew challenge # 77 - anything goes
Inspiration Destination # 13- anything goes
I love Promarkers challenge # 250 - anything goes
Passion for Promarkers challenge # 277 -bingo (die cut, free, glitter)
Creative Fingers challenge - anything goes
Artbymiran challenge # 22 - anything goes

That's all from me for now, I'm off to cut myself a piece of left over Christmas cake!
I'd like to wish each and every one of you a very Happy New Year for 2015 and I hope it brings you all that you wish for.
A huge Thank You for your support of my blog over the last year, it means such a lot to me, thank you too for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave.
Until next time.
Aloha.

Merry Christmas

Hello to each and every one of my lovely followers, friends and visitors
I've decided that this will be my last post for 2014 as things are getting a little crazy with so much still to do, much like everyone at the moment. Now I've broken up from work I'm hoping that I can do lots of catching up and can get on track ready for the big day. I'm trying so hard to not leave everything till Christmas Eve this year as I really want to enjoy the day and not end up frazzled and stressed like last year.
This card is for my lovely postman who has been delivering letters to us for the past 20 or so years and always goes that extra mile-he's such a fab person and nothing's too much trouble for him.
I've used a pre-coloured panel from Fizzy Moon for this as it reminded me so much of our poor postman, out walking in the cold!!  I layered it with Papermania papers from the Craft Christmas pack-I wasn't too sure about the papers when I first got them but have since realised they are very versatile and I'll be using some of them for male birthday cards next year too!
Just a few punched stars and a greeting to finish off:

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Chocolate, Coffee, Cards challenge 80#- christmas
Crafts 4 Eternity challenge # 207 - hot chocolate
The Male Room challenge # 25 - christmas
Sparkles challenge #63 -anything goes

Well that's all from me for now, all that's left is for me to wish you all a very Peaceful and Happy Christmas wherever you are and all the best for 2015.
I'll see you all again in the New Year, with some exciting news too!
Aloha

DT card swap-Lil Patch of Crafty Friends

Hello all
I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and have got lots of Christmas jobs done as it's not long now is it? I just love Christmas and am like a big kid-my family despair of me sometimes but I just can't help it! Every year I insist on reading The Night Before Christmas to my two on Christmas Eve but something tells me this will be the first year I don't get to do it-with my daughter moving out and my son doing the usual teen things I think it will end up being read to the cat-I'm sure Tilly will love it!!
My card today was made for a card swap for one of my lovely DT friends over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends and now that I know she has received it I can share it here.
I used a Wild Rose Studio stamp called Annabelle's Christmas and coloured her with my promarkers. I found some lovely green paper in my stash which I thought would set it off perfectly and I punched some snowflakes and added some green gems to finish off:

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

A Creative Need - playing with snow
Chocolate, Coffee & Cards # 80- christmas
Fun with Shapes# 171 - snowflakes
Delightful challenges - bundle up (winter)

Girl with Roses

Evening all, I hope this finds you all well and enjoying your week.
The time is just flying by isn't it-so much to do! I'm trying to make myself do one job every night but I can't wait till I break up from school so that I have a couple of days to really blitz everything I need to do-thankfully only a week left!
My card today is made with an image I won from Time for Tea-I really love these images and think I will definitely be adding more to my collection. I've coloured her with promarkers and layered her with some Wild Rose Studio papers and punched a strip for the middle with my doily punch from Martha Stewart. The sentiment is stamped onto a die cut scalloped circle and some card candi added to the corners finished it off.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Adam's Snowman

Hello to all my lovely friends and followers, I hope everyone is well.
First of all I'd like to welcome my two new followers, I'm so glad to have you join me and I hope you enjoy reading my blog.
I had such a lovely day in London yesterday, haven't been up to town for such a long time and if I'm honest I wasn't really looking forward to it. It ended up being a beautiful sunny (if very cold) day and we saw the Shard, Tower of London, the Eye, Big Ben plus visited Harrods and Selfridges (bought a tree decoration as it was about all we could afford!) Wish I could do it all again.
My card today is for my son and I've used a really old hobbycraft snowman stamp that I've had for ages but I still keep coming back to it. I found some lovely backing papers with some trees on from a magazine giveaway and tore some card for the front to look like snow for him to stand on. He's layered with silver mirri card and I just added a few snowflakes and a bit of glitter to finish it all off as I didn't want to make it look too feminine:

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Digi Choosday # 48- christmas
Inky Impressions #188 - snow
Creative Moments # 57-A/G winter
Patties Creations challenge # 105- christmas

Have a fantastic week and until next time.

Christmas Carolling

Evening to all my lovely friends and followers today. I hope this finds you all well.
Well, thank goodness, after 4 days without internet we are finally back on line-hooray!! I can't believe just how dependent we all are on it and my son even commented yesterday that I needed to calm down as I was getting very uptight because I couldn't check my emails and blogs!! Phew, back to normal!!
My card today is made with a freebie stamp set which came with my magazine and I haven't used it till now. I used my new Lilli of the Valley Winter Wishes pad and coloured the image with promarkers. I've punched a border with my Martha Stewart doily punch and added a large die cut snowflake and a little paper flower:

I raced home tonight to try and get this photographed before it got too dark-boy it's really hard to get any good photos at this time of year isn't it? It's dark when I go to work and almost dark when I get home so I'm afraid this was the best I could do!

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Creative Moments # 57 - anything goes (winter)
A Random Fan   # 20-christmas
Digi Choosday # 48 -christmas
ABC challenge -Y for yuletide

Casing Santa

Hello all,
I hope this finds you well and having a lovely weekend.
I had a wonderful day yesterday all to myself so I spent it in the conservatory making some final Christmas cards! Today is all about trying to finish off my Christmas shopping-and I think I'm almost there now thank goodness-so wish me luck!
My card today is made for my nephew who is 8 and I couldn't think what I was going to make for him- I was sat with my cup of coffee, looked at my mug and suddenly thought 'wow, that would make a good card'!!
I used some red card as the base, die cut a little white Christmassy strip for the top and bottom and punched some buttons and holly. His belt was made with my ribbon punch from Hobbycraft, a lovely simple one but I think he'll like it as he just LOVES everything Christmas:

Purple dress

Evening all, I hope this finds you all well and having a good week so far.
I had a lovely half day today so came home, put on the Santa Clause and did some wrapping up-I now have glitter off the paper absolutely EVERYWHERE and for once it's nothing to do with my cardmaking!!
My card today is made for my friend who has a birthday in a couple of weeks-I used an old stamp which I got years ago from Hobbycraft and have hardly used, it really reminds me of the sort of dress my friend would wear. I coloured it with promarkers and added lots of glitter. I punched a fancy edge with my Martha Stewart edging punch and the papers are Papermania Bellisima. it's finished off with a gem and some card candi:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Annabelle's christmas

Evening all, I hope this post finds you all well.
I'm not having the best of weeks, a short shopping trip yesterday ended with a huge white van ploughing along the side of our car-although it's caused a fair bit of damage at least we weren't hurt so it could have been alot worse.
I have been enjoying having my craft bits in the conservatory now that we've had a radiator fitted out here-it was only supposed to be for the winter time but I think I may well find myself moving my stash in permanently lol!!
I don't make alot of Christmas cards, normally only for close family and this card is the first of my batch for this year. It's made with a Wild Rose Studio freebie stamp from a magazine, coloured with promarkers. I used my new Lili of the Valley paper pad, Winter Wishes and die cut a snowflake for the corner. I punched the edge of the paper with my Martha Stewart doily punch and added a paper flower. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I added glitter (not so easy to see) and a blue gems to the snowflake and flower:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Arron's suit

Evening all
It's a little unusual for me to be posting on a Monday but I just wanted to pop on and share a card I made over the weekend.
A friend at work asked me to make a card for her son and said that he loves clothes and smart suits.
I was lucky enough to win this Heritage Press stamp set in a Docrafts facebook giveaway and thought it would be perfect. The papers are from the same set and fitted the bill with the navy and grey shades.
It's the first time I have used these stamps and do think they stamp up really well-they will definitely be used lots in the future I think. It may be good to stamp up a few at the same time and make up some toppers ready to use at short notice.
I added some little navy buttons and some black gems as suit buttons and added the age in a punched star shape.
Apologies for the photo-it's so hard to get a good picture during these dark days!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Fussy & Fancy challenge 127- 2 of a kind (buttons)
Fab N Funky challenge # 237 - happy birthday
Southern Girls - boys

Well thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave. I'm off to do some colouring up for some Christmas cards now.
Until next time.

Apple Queen

Hello to all my followers and friends I hope this finds you well and having a lovely weekend.
I have been having a very quiet one this week as I am trying to recover from last week which was just horrible-it was one of those weeks where I was so glad it was over. The motto was 'if it can go wrong it will' -just why do they happen sometimes?
I have been busy with a bit more Christmas shopping and some crafting in between and my card today is one I made for the Moonflower challenge on facebook using one of Andreia's fab images.  I have coloured this beautiful image with my promarkers and have added lots of glitter and a little glossy accents to her crown, but I don't think it shows up so well.
The papers are really old from way back when I started crafting and I'm afraid they haven't been used in ages-I just love this blue starry paper and did used to use it alot when I first got it. I think the pack was called the Colossal pack?
I tore some white card so it looks like snowy ground and punched some snowflakes. I added a doily behind the image as it sort of reminded me of the moon and added a blue paper flower. The sentiment is from a magazine freebie set. Some little pearls finished it all off:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

CRAFT - christmas
Crafty Catz # - christmas is coming
Delightful Challenges - happy holidays
A Crafty Mess # 1 - anything goes
A song in your he{art} - frozen

Just Inspirational - gifts
Melonheadz challenge - add a sentiment

Well that's all from me for now, take care and thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave.

Spoil yourself!

Evening all, I hope you are all well and having a good week so far.
I had an early finish at work today as we have had a new radiator fitted in our conservatory as we are fed up with having to close it off for the winter-so hopefully we can sit out there all snuggly when the snow comes (she says, hopefully!!). Who knows, I may even get to do some crafting out there now during the dark dark nights when I don't want to venture out to my shed!!
I've been having a little play with some new papers I ordered from Lilli of the Valley-I've not owned any before and I think they are just gorgeous. I can see a few more making their way onto my christmas list!
My card today is made with a gorgeous freebie given away on the Karleigh Sue facebook page, coloured with promarkers. The papers are from the Forever Friends love pack-if I'm honest I'm not too sure about the colours, they're not the sort I normally go for!
I added some glossy accents to the water bowl and a little wooden heart shape. I die cut a leafy shape which reminded me of those big leaves you get fanned with lol and finished with some paper flowers and pearls.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Melonheadz - add a sentiment
The Corrosive challenge # 212 -girly
Whoopsi Daisy - lots of layers
Cuttlebug Mania - you go girl (leafy die/cuttlebug)

Hang in there Possum

Hello all, hope this post finds you all well this weekend.
I have tried to get myself into gear today and begin thinking about Christmas-I don't think I've ever been so late in starting preparations-I've done absolutely nothing yet which is worrying when you think it's only a few weeks away really! Maybe next week!!
Instead, I've had a little play with a cute image I recently won in the Meljens challenge-called Little Possum and he was so cute I couldn't resist choosing him.
I coloured him with my promarkers and used some papers from Dovecraft. The sentiment is computer generated and I added a die cut flourish, some paper flowers, pearls and liquid pearls. Some glitter on the little butterfly finished it all off:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Happy Birthday!

Evening all, I hope this finds you all well on this chilly day.
I am kind of getting back into the swing of being back to work-it always takes a few days but I'd much rather be at home and I'm finding once again that I have such limited time for crafting.
The dark nights make it harder to go out into my craft shed too so I decided to sit in the lounge and colour some images last night-I got to the very last part of the image and made a mistake which I couldn't save-don't you just hate it when that happens!
My card today was made with a gorgeous image from Time for Tea which I won in a recent challenge. The papers are from a Forever in Time pad called Blue Garden. I coloured my image with promarkers and added a punched edge with an x cut punch. The flowers are from Papermania and the sentiment is a freebie. It's finished off with some card candi and gems.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Catch the Bug - anything goes
Suzy Bees Bloomin challenge #53 - anything goes -lots of layers

Until next time, take care.

Tumbelina Faery

Hello all,
I hope this finds you all well and planning a lovely weekend.
I had a lovely time with all my family here for Halloween yesterday-very busy but lots of fun and my niece and nephew went Trick or Treating for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
I've been busy colouring this gorgeous image which was given away on the MoonFlower facebook page recently. I just love this image and wanted to make my card quite girly and soft as it's going to be for my son's girlfriend who is just lovely.
I coloured the image with Promarkers and used my blender pen so that the colours were much softer and used a fine paintbrush to add the glitter to her wings, the flowers and the butterfly as I wanted it to be very subtle-I don't think it shows up too well on the photo though unfortunately. I cut out the image with my Xcut scalloped circle and made a faux nestie for her.
The papers are from my stash and I think they were from Wild Rose Studio but the cover from the pack is missing so I can't be sure!
I used my Martha Stewart doily edging punch for the middle strip and die cut a swirl and butterfly. The flowers are from Papermania and I've coloured them slightly at the edges. Three little gems finish it all off:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Delightful Challenges - swirls and curls

Ginger Dancing

Hello all, I do hope this finds you all well.
I can't believe that I only have a few days of the half term left-I haven't done very much but it's been lovely not having to go to work and do what I want instead!
I have been making some cards with some lovely images from Time for Tea that I won in a recent challenge. This one is called Ginger Dancing and I just love her-I've coloured her with my Promarkers and I've used papers from both Paper Cellar and Marianne Designs Twinset and Pearls.
I had a bit of a eureka moment with this card-
Since the Papermill closed I have been struggling to find decently priced coloured card lately-I bought two packs from Amazon recently but when they arrived they were not the right shade at all-I was so disappointed. Then when I made this card I couldn't find any darker green card that matched this image in my stash and I suddenly had the idea to colour the edges of white card with my Promarkers in the same shade as my image-easy right!!-just why hadn't I thought of it before??
I added a little wooden heart and some coloured paper flowers, some card candi and sequins. The sentiment is computer generated:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Fan-tastic Tuesday -# 59 anything goes -monochrome
Quirky Crafts challenges - # 22 charades (dancing queen)
Just Inspirational - occasions

Well I'm off now to sort out some pumpkins for carving ready for Friday.
Enjoy the rest of your week. Thank you for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave.

Dad in Jumper

Afternoon all, I hope this finds you well and enjoying a good start to your week.
I have had a busy day, doing the 'snagging' from decorating the kitchen turned into then painting the top rail of the stair bannisters and then the window ledge and part of the skirting in my bedroom! After that I decided to treat myself to a few hours in my craft shed as I wanted to make a couple of cards and some Halloween treats ready for Friday.
My card today was made for my daughters boyfriend-he's into music but I've done that on his cards SO many times I thought it was time for something different. I received this fab Time for Tea image from a recent challenge win and thought it was perfect for making his card.
I coloured the image with my Promarkers, cut it out with my xcut die and made a faux nestie. The papers are from Papermania's Craft Christmas pack. I stamped a sentiment and die cut a backing for it then punched a couple of stars to finish off:

I followed the sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday which is this one:

Hello dear friends and followers I hope you are all well today.
I can't believe I have already had one week off work, just where does the time go? At least I have another to look forward to, and a big family get-together on Friday too.
My card today is using a gorgeous freebie from Art by MiRan, I've had her coloured for a little while but just hadn't got round to making up the card yet. I got the idea for the paper patterning from something I printed at work and I thought 'ooh, now that would make a good card'!!
I used Wild Rose and Parisienne papers from Papermania, added a couple of paper flowers, a die cut flourish with some little gems and a sentiment:

Hello all, I hope you are all well.
I am so far having a lovely half term-doing lots of lovely crafting and a little housework inbetween!
I'm off out to lunch tomorrow with my sister and Mum and Dad so I'm really looking forward to that!
I was busy yesterday making this card with a lovely image I won on the Meljens Designs challenge blog-I couldn't resist choosing her, she's so cute!.
I coloured her with my Promarkers and layered her with some red and black card. The star paper is from a Fizzy Moon christmas pack I got in the sales last year for about 50p in Wilkinsons and the gingham paper is from my stash.
I drew round the image with my Xcut shape cutter frames and used my deckled edge scissors to cut them out.
I added some punched stars and little gems and the sentiments are computer generated.

Inky Impressions challenge # 182 - checkmate
Digi Choosday challenge # 42-Happy Birthday

Loli and Shellie

Hello to all my friends and followers today and I hope your week is being kind to you so far.
I spent a large chunk of yesterday in my craft shed because I really wanted to make a card with this gorgeous little image. I was so lucky to have won her in the giveaway on Sylvia's blog page-I just love Wee Stamps and was so excited to see my name picked. I just know you'll be seeing lots more of her in the future!
I wasn't sure at first what colours to go with but there was some of this paper on my desk while I stamped her and I thought the flowers on the paper really went well with the style so pink it was!!
The paper is from the Marianne Designs Twinset and Pearls and I've coloured in Loli and Shellie with my Promarkers. I used my Martha Stewart doily edging punch and punched a butterfly too.
I've added a little glitter under Shellie and finished off with a little punched heart and some pearls.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Love to Scrap challenge # 40 -seeing dots
Addicted to Stamps challenge # 89 -anything goes
One Stitch at a Time challenge # 222- anything goes with a butterfly
Suzy Bees Blooming challenge # 51- anything goes, add pink
Ruby's Rainbow challenge # 90- use freebies or prizes

Little Owls - Anniversary

Hello to all my crafty friends today.
I hope you have had a wonderful weekend.  I've had a really busy one painting the kitchen! Why does decorating one room make the whole house end up in such a mess??
Hopefully it will all be back in it's usual place by the end of today and I must say I'm really pleased with how it looks.
I'm sharing this card today which was made recently for my Mum and Dad's anniversary. My Mum just loves owls and I'd seen this cute clipart image online and thought it would be perfect for an anniversary image.
I cut it out with my xcut circle shape cutter and layered it with a die cut scalloped circle.
I wanted to try and keep this one a little more CAS than normal. I added a dotty embossed panel and some layered punched hearts and die cut a swirl to carry through the branch effect. As my Dad's favourite colour is green that had to play a part too! You can't really see from the photo but I decoupaged the girl owl's head. A few little pearls finished it off.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Digitally Sweet challenge # 110 - your hero (my mum and dad are my big -time heroes)
Hiding in my craft Room challenge #170 - embossing
Allsorts challenge # 281- embossing
Papertake Weekly challenge - superfly
Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge # 199-anything goes
Crafting from the Heart challenge # 40- anything goes
Creative Fingers challenge # 53-anything goes

I am going to sit down and do some colouring up of some of my new digi images for the evening while watching my favourite shows-Downton Abbey and Hawaii 5-0 -just heaven!!.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments that you may wish to leave.
Have a lovely week, until next time.

Parisienne Lady

Evening all, I hope your week is a good one so far.
I'm counting down the hours now till half term-6 and a half to be precise!!
I am planning lots of craft time (yay!!) but before that comes decorating the kitchen (boo!!) this weekend-I really don't like decorating at all but hopefully it is only a case of splashing a bit of paint around. I don't know why our jobs always start out as 'quick jobs' and somehow manage to turn into major epics!!
Well onto my card, I've been using so many digis lately I thought I would dig around my old stamps and use one for a change. This one I got such a long time ago from Oyster stamps-there were a few in the series at the time and I've always wished I'd bought more as I do love this one. She's coloured with Promarkers and I tried to keep it a bit simpler on the layout. The paper is from my new Marianne Designs pack called Twinset and Pearls. I coloured a paper flower to match, added a little glitter to her dress, a couple of card candi and that's it!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Crafty Sentiments challenge - something beginning with G
Pennys Paper Crafty challenge - anything goes
Party Time Tuesdays -anything goes
Inspiration Destination challenge #3- anything goes
Crafting at the Weekend - anything goes
Suzy Bees Bloomin challenge - anything goes with a twist, stipes
Crafty Hazelnut - patterned paper
Sassy Studio Designs challenge # 251-back in black

Enjoy your Friday and have a lovely weekend!
Thank you so much for stopping by today, until next time.

Wee hopeful

Good evening all,
I hope this finds you well and so far having a good week. Countdown now to school holidays-my school has a two week half term so I'm looking forward to a lovely rest!
I have been having a little play with another one of my Papermania pads this week and decided to use this gorgeous image from Wee Stamps, coloured as always with my Promarkers.  The pad is called Parisienne Blue and I just love its gorgeous shades. I'm thinking of trying to mix all three of the pads that I have and see how it turns out-maybe one for the holidays when I have time to play around.
These pads are costing me a fortune in Promarkers though-I bought three different shades trying to match this paper and am still not sure about it-I may well try to darken her dress down a little but am not sure what colour to go over the top with-any suggestions gratefully received!
I added some paper flowers, sequins and card candi and punched out a little heart to finish:

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Party Time Tuesdays challenge #185- anything goes
Melonheadz challenge - lots of layers
Inspiration Destination challenge #2 - anything goes
Scribble and Scrap challenge #29 - anything goes
Addicted to Stamps challenge # 89- anything goes
Crafty Sentiments - letter G (girl)

Well, thank you for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave.
Until next time.

Rosy cheek Emma

Good afternoon to all my friends and followers.
Firstly I would like to say a big 'hello' and 'welcome' to my new followers -it's so nice to have you with me and I hope you enjoy my blog.
Can you believe it's Friday again?? I've had a really busy week as the school I work at had it's Open Evening yesterday and you wouldn't believe the work that makes-it's been non-stop crazy for about a fortnight now. Still, the up-side was that we got to have a short day today which was lovely and so nice to be home just a little bit earlier on a Friday!
This week I've been colouring in a new image I bought from the Art by Miran store-I really love these images and really enjoyed colouring her. I had a design in my head for the card but then when I came to make it somehow it turned into this which was nothing at all how I'd planned!!
I used both my new Papermania pads together, the Wild Rose and the Eau de Nil as I love these colours together and it's turning into a bit of a favourite of mine too. I used Kraft card to back everything which gave it a bit of depth.
I cut the image on an oval using my fancy scissors and used more fancy scissors to cut the edges on the corners. I added some coloured flowers and pearls and die cut the butterfly adding some liquid pearls to the wings. I punched a little envelope to put the sentiment in so it tied in with the image and here she is:

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Art by Miran challenge # 16- anything goes
Milkcoffee Designs challenge - lots of layers
Whoopsi Daisy challenge - things with wings
Passion for Promarkers challenge # 268- favourite colour
Sister Act challenge # 78 - anything goes
Catch the Bug October challenge - anything goes

Well I hope you all have a fab weekend wherever you are, thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave.
Until next time.

Hello to all my friends and followers today.
I hope this finds you all well.
I have just popped on to share my exciting news with you all.

Much to my huge surprise I had an email to say that I had been successful and I was asked to join the lovely ladies over on the challenge which begins on January 4th 2015.

Huge thanks to Denise and Amy for asking me to be part of this lovely group-it’s going to be so much fun and I feel so honoured to be asked. I can’t wait for the challenges to start and am so looking forward to it.

So make a note in your diaries and on your calendars for January 4th and make sure you come over and join the fun and in the meantime why not pop over to the challenge page here and become a follower and grab a badge for your blog too.
Well that’s my exciting news-am off to make myself a well earned coffee after a very exhausting day at work!

Emma and Rosey

Good evening to all and I hope this post finds you well and managing to keep yourself warm-boy, how cold has it turned?? I very nearly gave in and put the heating on last night!
Since my daughter moved out last week and my son has started uni I am finding the house very quiet-I guess I will get used to it but it is very strange after so many years of noise and mess!
I finished this card at the weekend and used a digi stamp from Fred She Said that I won in a recent challenge. I just loved this gorgeous image as it reminded me of our old dog so I had to colour him in the same colours. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and used a freebie paper pack from a magazine. I used my new X cut paper punch to make a fancy edge along the middle strip and I coloured some flowers to match and added some gems. The sentiment was from Netty's cards and I punched some little butterflies to finish off. I just love this shade of mint and went out and bought myself some new Promarkers in these shades so I think you will be seeing rather a lot of it in the future!!

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Meljens challenge # 230- friends forever
CCC digi creations challenge # 10- digi/borders
Whoopsi Daisy challenge -things with wings

Wee Peggy

A very good afternoon to all my friends and followers today. I hope this finds you all well on this lovely sunny Sunday!
I have had the day all to myself so got my jobs out of the way early and then have spent a few hours in my craft shed finishing off this card. I started it in the week but it just needed some tweaking today.
I used a sheet of A4 card and folded to meet in the middle, then cut out and folded back the front bit to make a little window for my image to sit in. I used a Wee Stamps digi image and coloured her with my Promarkers. The papers are from Docrafts called Tilly Daydream which I got recently in Hobbycraft. I coloured some flowers to match and added a sentiment, pearls, punched hearts and a die cut butterfly using my new Wild Rose Studio die. I am quite pleased with the fold so have started making a card using this style for my nephew who just loves Star Wars lego-so will post that one later to show you too.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

ABC challenge - U for unique
The Paper Shelter challenge # 176- pearls
Crafty Hazelnut challenge - October challenge patterned papers
Pinspirational challenges # 125- anything goes
Glitter n Sparkle challenge - use something with B (butterfly)
Emerald Fairies challenge # 60 -things with wings
Passion for Promarkers challenge # 267- make it feminine
Crafty Catz challenge # 249 - all sentimental

Thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments which are always so gratefully received.

Emma and the Cake

Hello to all my crafty friends and followers. I hope you are all having a good week.
Between trying to help my daughter move and help my son settle at uni I feel like my head is in too many places at the moment. I'm sure things will settle down but I do hope it's soon!
I am looking forward to the weekend as everyone is going to be busy doing their own things I am planning a huge chunk of craft time just for me. I have a couple of ideas for cards and just want some time to experiment. I saw a lovely pattern on something I had to print at work the other day so want to try and incorporate that into a card-will let you know if it works!!
My card today is using a gorgeous image from Fred She Said which I won in a recent challenge-I've never used any before but feel I may just have to be buying a few more!
I used my Papermania Wild Rose papers again, don't laugh but I love these so much I had to go out and buy the Eau de nil pack yesterday-I may just have to get a second job at this rate! I've coloured her with my Promarkers, adding some spots with a white gel pen and die cut her out, using a faux nestie behind. I thought she could do with some birthday banners but as I don't have a die cut set I had a go at making my own and was fairly pleased with how they turned out. I found a cute cupcake chipboard shape in my box and finished off with some flowers and gems:

I would like to enter her into the following challenges:

Addicted to Stamps challenge # 88 - white + one other
Glitter n Sparkle challenge # 104- use flowers

Flowerpot Frog

Hello all
I hope this finds you all well and having had a lovely weekend. The weather has just been smashing here today and we even managed to have a BBQ for tea-I think that's probably our last of the year though unfortunately!
I can't believe I am now going into my fifth week back to school-only three more to go and there's another holiday. Lots more craft time-yay!!
I have been having a play with such a cute image I recently won in the Robyns Fetish challenge. It's a gorgeous image from Oakpond Creations called Flowerpot Frog. I coloured him with my Promarkers and have decoupaged his little head and used glossy accents on his eyes. I have used some stripey paper from a pack I got at The Works. The red spotty paper was in my spares box and I thought it went quite well -I don't normally use these shades but felt they had quite and autumnal feel to the colours. The little chipboard sentiment was a magazine freebie.

I would like to enter him into the following challenges:

Quirky Crafts challenge # 20- quirky falling leaves (autumn related)
Jellypark challenge - autumn/fall
Suzy Bees challenge # 48 - use red
Just Us Girls challenge # 260 - photo inspirations

Hedgehogs flowers

Hello all and I hope you are all well.
I'd like to say a big welcome my new followers-I hope you enjoy my blog, it's lovely to have you with me.
I am having a lovely weekend so far, not too much housework and a fair bit of crafting!
I wanted to share this card today, it's using one of my oldest stamps-I must admit to using fewer and fewer physical stamps these days as I just love all of the digi images out there, so it was nice to get my ink pad out again.
This is a cute Penny Black stamp which I bought such a long time ago from my local craft shop which unfortunately closed last year. I coloured him in with Promarkers and have layered it with some blue Bellisima Papermania papers and some stripey paper from my stash. I ran a perforator around the edge as it looked a little bare. My Martha Stewart punch was used to make the white lattice at the bottom and I coloured a papermania flower to match the blue theme and added a brown paper flower to the centre. I chalked the edges of some little punched butterflies and added some blue pearls and a chipboard shape to finish;

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Penny Black Saturday challenge  for September- brown blue and white
Moving along with the Times - 3,2,1,recipe
Cute Card Thursday challenge # 340- dies/punches
One Stitch at a Time # 220- anything goes with a flower
Papertake Weekly challenge - oh how cute

I'm just waiting for a lovely takeaway to turn up so better go get some plates warmed up ready!
Thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you wish to leave. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and until next time.

Somebunny loves you sketch

Hello to all my lovely friends and followers, I hope this finds you all well.
I have had a very busy day, registering my son at his uni, lunch at Nandos and then helping to move huge amounts of daughters possessions-just where do they get all this stuff from?? And there's still loads in her room!! A little time for me now-yay!
Yesterday the weather was rubbish and there was nowhere to go so I managed to spend quite a while out in my craft shed. I had seen a sketch on the Sketch Saturday blog which I loved so wanted to make a card for it.
I decided to try and use a stamp that I had never used before as I have loads that never see the light of day so picked this cute bunny image which I got from a magazine-the sentiment was part of the set.
I die cut the image with my X Cut die and made a faux nestie for behind.
The papers were also freebies but again, I have hardly used them-they are Pink Petticoat Vintage Rose, Kaisercraft Confetti and the clouds were from a pack called Let's Fly Away.
I have coloured my image with Promarkers and added a little chipboard heart and finished off with some matching  pearls:-

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Sketch Saturday -sketch # 328
Robyn's Fetish challenge # 230 - use a die cut or punch

Emma in torn jeans CAS

Hello all and a very happy Friday evening to everyone!
Firstly I'd like to welcome my new follower, I am really pleased to have you join me and I hope you enjoy my blog.
I just love Friday evenings, curling up on the sofa knowing I have two lovely days off work.
I have a busy one planned this weekend though-my son has his uni registration on Sunday morning and then we are straight over helping my daughter move more bits for her house move. I am hoping that somewhere in there I can fit some craft time in-will have to try and grab some spare time during tomorrow I think.
My card today is using another Pink Gem image, this time it's Emma in Torn jeans and I just love this one, she's so easy to colour. I've tried going for a more clean and simple design with this card than I normally go for-that white space just makes me want to fill it up though, so hard to leave it well alone!
I've cut her out and stuck her onto an embossed panel and the papers are from my stash. The sentiment is a freebie and I punched some stars to match her top to put in some of the white space (see, I told you I can't leave it alone!) I hope you like it.

I would like to enter her into the following challenges:

Crafty Catz challenge # 247- pretty woman
Pennys Paper Crafty challenge # 195- anything goes
Passion for Promarkers challenge # 265- make it digital
Papertake Weekly - punch it out
Paper Makeup challenge # 158- clean and simple
Robyns Fetish challenge # 229 - use an embossing folder
Sweet 7 designs -challenge # 4 - anything goes with a colour twist
Creative Inspirations challenge # 281- going dotty

Have a wonderful weekend whatever you are doing and thank you so much for stopping by.
Until next time.
