Hello all
I hope this finds you all well and having had a lovely weekend. The weather has just been smashing here today and we even managed to have a BBQ for tea-I think that's probably our last of the year though unfortunately!
I can't believe I am now going into my fifth week back to school-only three more to go and there's another holiday. Lots more craft time-yay!!
I have been having a play with such a cute image I recently won in the Robyns Fetish challenge. It's a gorgeous image from Oakpond Creations called Flowerpot Frog. I coloured him with my Promarkers and have decoupaged his little head and used glossy accents on his eyes. I have used some stripey paper from a pack I got at The Works. The red spotty paper was in my spares box and I thought it went quite well -I don't normally use these shades but felt they had quite and autumnal feel to the colours. The little chipboard sentiment was a magazine freebie.
I would like to enter him into the following challenges:
Quirky Crafts challenge # 20- quirky falling leaves (autumn related)
Jellypark challenge - autumn/fall
Suzy Bees challenge # 48 - use red
Just Us Girls challenge # 260 - photo inspirations
If you give a Crafter a Cookie challenge # 2- photo inspiration
Pennys Paper Crafty challenge # 196- spots and stripes
Passion for Promarkers challenge # 266 - autumn colours
Well I am off to clear up ready for Downton so will say bye for now.
Thank you so much for popping by today and for any comments you wish to leave-I really appreciate each and every one.
Until next time.
Aloha

Hedgehogs flowers
Hello all and I hope you are all well.
I'd like to say a big welcome my new followers-I hope you enjoy my blog, it's lovely to have you with me.
I am having a lovely weekend so far, not too much housework and a fair bit of crafting!
I wanted to share this card today, it's using one of my oldest stamps-I must admit to using fewer and fewer physical stamps these days as I just love all of the digi images out there, so it was nice to get my ink pad out again.
This is a cute Penny Black stamp which I bought such a long time ago from my local craft shop which unfortunately closed last year. I coloured him in with Promarkers and have layered it with some blue Bellisima Papermania papers and some stripey paper from my stash. I ran a perforator around the edge as it looked a little bare. My Martha Stewart punch was used to make the white lattice at the bottom and I coloured a papermania flower to match the blue theme and added a brown paper flower to the centre. I chalked the edges of some little punched butterflies and added some blue pearls and a chipboard shape to finish;
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Penny Black Saturday challenge for September- brown blue and white
Moving along with the Times - 3,2,1,recipe
Cute Card Thursday challenge # 340- dies/punches
One Stitch at a Time # 220- anything goes with a flower
Papertake Weekly challenge - oh how cute
I'm just waiting for a lovely takeaway to turn up so better go get some plates warmed up ready!
Thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you wish to leave. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and until next time.
Aloha

Somebunny loves you sketch
Hello to all my lovely friends and followers, I hope this finds you all well.
I have had a very busy day, registering my son at his uni, lunch at Nandos and then helping to move huge amounts of daughters possessions-just where do they get all this stuff from?? And there's still loads in her room!! A little time for me now-yay!
Yesterday the weather was rubbish and there was nowhere to go so I managed to spend quite a while out in my craft shed. I had seen a sketch on the Sketch Saturday blog which I loved so wanted to make a card for it.
I decided to try and use a stamp that I had never used before as I have loads that never see the light of day so picked this cute bunny image which I got from a magazine-the sentiment was part of the set.
I die cut the image with my X Cut die and made a faux nestie for behind.
The papers were also freebies but again, I have hardly used them-they are Pink Petticoat Vintage Rose, Kaisercraft Confetti and the clouds were from a pack called Let's Fly Away.
I have coloured my image with Promarkers and added a little chipboard heart and finished off with some matching pearls:-
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Sketch Saturday -sketch # 328
Robyn's Fetish challenge # 230 - use a die cut or punch
One Stitch at a Time challenge # 220- anything goes plus a flower
CRAFT challenge # 227 - colour challenge
Crafting from the Heart challenge # 36- anything goes
Sister Act challenge # 75 - anything goes
Creative Fingers challenge # 49
Thank you so much for stopping by today, have a wonderful week and until next time.
Aloha

Emma in torn jeans CAS
Hello all and a very happy Friday evening to everyone!
Firstly I'd like to welcome my new follower, I am really pleased to have you join me and I hope you enjoy my blog.
I just love Friday evenings, curling up on the sofa knowing I have two lovely days off work.
I have a busy one planned this weekend though-my son has his uni registration on Sunday morning and then we are straight over helping my daughter move more bits for her house move. I am hoping that somewhere in there I can fit some craft time in-will have to try and grab some spare time during tomorrow I think.
My card today is using another Pink Gem image, this time it's Emma in Torn jeans and I just love this one, she's so easy to colour. I've tried going for a more clean and simple design with this card than I normally go for-that white space just makes me want to fill it up though, so hard to leave it well alone!
I've cut her out and stuck her onto an embossed panel and the papers are from my stash. The sentiment is a freebie and I punched some stars to match her top to put in some of the white space (see, I told you I can't leave it alone!) I hope you like it.
I would like to enter her into the following challenges:
Crafty Catz challenge # 247- pretty woman
Pennys Paper Crafty challenge # 195- anything goes
Passion for Promarkers challenge # 265- make it digital
Papertake Weekly - punch it out
Paper Makeup challenge # 158- clean and simple
Robyns Fetish challenge # 229 - use an embossing folder
Sweet 7 designs -challenge # 4 - anything goes with a colour twist
Creative Inspirations challenge # 281- going dotty
Have a wonderful weekend whatever you are doing and thank you so much for stopping by.
Until next time.
Aloha

Autumn Faye on Toadstool
Hello all, I hope you are well.
I am having quite an emotional week as my daughter moved out yesterday, I thought I was prepared for it but once it arrived I felt really choked up. I feel like she was a newborn, I blinked, and then suddenly she's all grown up and she's moving away!
Anyway, I think I have been crafting lots lately to try and keep my mind off it all. This card I made as I had coloured the image quite a while ago and found it recently when I was sorting through some of my images. I have seen lots of challenges lately for autumn shades so thought it was about time I made her into a card.
I used a digi stamp called Faye on Toadstool from Pink Gem and she was one of the first digi images I owned. I had coloured her in autumny shades so went through my papers and came across my Wild Rose Studio Milton pack which I thought went quite well with her colours. I followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday and cut a patterned edge with my scissors ( I have a drawer full of different scissors so must try to use them more!)
I punched and layered some little hearts to carry on the theme on her dress and added a wooden heart from Hobbycraft. I glittered her little hair bow and added glossy accents to her shoe bells - it's not so easy to see that on the photo though. A paper flower from the pound shop (I changed the colour of the gem in the middle though) finished it off-hope you like it.
I would like to enter her into the following challenges;
Sketch Saturday - sketch # 327
Faery Ink Designs challenge # 1- fairies
Sparkles challenge # 60- things with wings
The Cutie Pie Challenge # 78- cute with shades of autumn
Melonheadz - autumn colours
Whoopsi Daisy Challenge -colours of autumn
Crafty Sentiments - autumn colours
Passion for Promarkers challenge # 265- make it digital
Crafting for all Seasons challenge # 86- colours of autumn
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a good rest of the week-not long now till the weekend!!.
Until next time.

Mmm, cakes
Evening all,
I thought I'd just quickly pop on and show a card I started yesterday and finished off tonight.
I used a clear stamp which came with a magazine and coloured the image with Promarkers.
I die cut the image and added a faux nestie behind - I've only just learned about these and think it is such a good idea I'll be using them lots!
I used some papers from Dovecraft called Tea Party and added a little brad which came from a matching set.
I punched some little hearts from the paper and coloured a little heart doily to go behind the image. The sentiments came with the set. Hope you like it:
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Glitter n Sparkle #102 - use a punch
Allsorts # 276- sugar and spice
If You Give a Crafter a Cookie # 1- inspirational picture
Crafty Girls # 26- anything goes
Seize the Birthday - sweet treats
Thank you for stopping by today, enjoy your evening and until next time.

Wee Kitty
Afternoon all,
I hope this finds you well and having a lovely weekend.
I have had such a good time this weekend, the other half has been away seeing his family and I spent yesterday girly shopping with my daughter getting bits ready for her imminent house move, and then we watched a film together last night while my son had a houseful of friends round in the conservatory as a pre-uni get together. They were good as gold and I didn't even know they were there!
Today I have spent a long time in my craft shed as I've had the house to myself and have had a lovely few hours putting together a couple of cards.
The first one is this little one using a freebie image from Wee Stamps. I coloured her with my Promarkers and used my new Papermania Parisienne paper pack-I really love these papers!!.
I coloured in a little heart doily and punched some flowers and die cut a corner swirl and flourish. I added some gems and card candi to finish off-hope you like it!
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday challenge # 338 - too cute
Fab N Funky challenge # 228 - cute as a button
Sister Act challenge - anything goes
Paper Makeup challenge # 157 - sequins/gems
Suzy Bees challenge # 46 - anything goes
Crafty Hazelnut September challenge - patterned paper
Scribble and Scrap challenge # 27- anything goes
Glitter n Sparkle challenge # 102 -use a punch
Thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave.
I hope your week goes smoothly and until next time.

Quick Cards Reader Design Team!
Hello all, I hope you are all well.
Just a quick post tonight-I'm really excited and wanted to share!
Last month Quick Cards mag put out a call for a new Reader Design Team to make an inspiration card with their bonus papers, which come free with the magazine. The idea is that some cards go in the magazine, and the rest go on their website and also on facebook.
I sent off three samples of my cards and got an email back asking me to take part in this month's issue!!
The magazine came out today and it was so exciting as there was a little picture of my card on the feature page directing readers to the website and it also features there and on facebook here!!
I'm not allowed to use the image of my card here on my blog but if you want to see it why not take a quick look on facebook or on the Quick Cards website under the blog header, there were lots of lovely cards made by the rest of the Reader Design Team.
Thanks for stopping by today, until next time.

Apple Picking
Evening all, I hope you are all well and enjoying a good week.
I am still managing to keep up with some craft now that I am back to work but am finding it difficult, with the family keep wanting my time every evening. I promise myself that I'm going to spend an hour or so in my shed and then as soon as I come home one or the other of them wants me to 'just pop here or there' with them!! Just how does everyone else manage to make time??? I think my family must just be very needy!!
This card I just finished off is using a cute little image from Elisabeth Bell. I coloured her with my Promarkers and have layered her with papers from another of my new packs by Forever in Time-this one's called Frolic.
I've added some faux stitches around the edges and coloured some paper flowers to match. The butterfly is cut using a large Xcut punch and I've finished off with some sequins and pearls-I hope you like her:
I would like to enter her into the following challenges:
Whoopsi Daisy challenge - throw on the flowers
Love to Create challenge - # 132 - flowers and stitching
Catch the Bug September challenge - anything goes
Treasured Times challenge # 24 - anything goes
Crafting from the Heart challenge # 35 - anything goes
Well thank you for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave. Have a lovely week and until next time.

Butterfly moving house
A very good afternoon to all my lovely friends and followers.
I do hope this post finds you keeping well.
I have had a really busy first week back to school, really hit the ground running but I am determined that I am going to find time for my crafting still.
I've tried using my evenings to colour in some images so that I can make up some cards during the weekends and this week it's worked quite well.
I finally managed to finish my daughters moving card which had been giving me some trouble-I think I was trying to colour the cottage in traditional colours which didn't go with the rest of the card so I tried using the purple for the thatch roof in the end and it felt much better to me.
I used an old stamp bought ages ago from Hobbycraft and the butterflies I found on the internet-boy were they fiddly to cut out! The papers are a mix of Wild Rose Studio and Papermania and the image is coloured with Promarkers.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Treasured Times challenge # 24 - anything goes
Fussy and Fancy Friday challenge # 122 - more than one fold
Whimsy Stamps challenge # 75 - monochrome
Love to Create challenge # 131 -colour inspired
Party Time Tuesdays challenge # 187- anything goes
Natalie and Amy challenge - things with wings
Well that's all from me for now, have a fab week and thank you for stopping by today.
Until next time.

Bubbles
Hello all and I hope this finds you well.
I am already exhausted and it's only the second day back at work, and I have spent the last two days having serious withdrawal symptoms from my craft shed!!
I thought the best thing to do was to blog one of my cards to at least make me feel like I'm still in the loop!
I made this recently with a gorgeous image from Saturated Canary and coloured her with my Promarkers. I tried using my blender pen, which I have never had much success with but this seemed to work quite well this time and gave quite a nice graduated feel to her dress so I must try using it again a bit more.
The backing paper is from an old Papermania pad and the white edging is cut off from some small cards which I have never used. I glittered the bubbles and added some little punched stars and blue gems to finish off:
I would like to enter her into the following challenges:
Treasured Times challenge # 23- anything goes
Delightful Challenges - layer it
Addicted to Stamps challenge # 86 - pastel colours
My Mum's Craft Shop challenge # 21 -dies or punches
Crafty Boots challenge - sweet 16
Crafty Hazelnut's - September challenge
Thank you so much for stopping by today and for any comments you may wish to leave.
I'm off to finish watching the new Spiderman film as I fell asleep during it last night!!
Take care and until next time.
Aloha
